We were in the Nelle's Hideaway room. It's small for 2 adults (and the shower might be challenging for someone larger), but it was beautiful. All the little touches made us feel pampered. In all our travels, we've never had sheets so comfortable! The room was very quiet. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.
My husband and I started our 30th Wedding anniversary trip at Bella Rose. What an amazing start for our vacation! Jill and Rob were very helpful, friendly and accommodating! Our room was beautiful but in addition to that it had a fireplace and two person tub. I can't remember when I felt so relaxed. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious! We would definitely stay again!
Delightful. We enjoyed a lovely weekend in Canandaigua and Bella Rose was a memorable part of the weekend. The Bella Rose is so pretty, inside and out, and our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was yummy and different each day. There were even snacks available if you wanted some. Jill and Rob were very friendly and helpful no matter what the question was. We highly recommend spending time at Bella Rose. You will not be disappointed.
Jill serves delicious breakfasts with charming presentation. The house is kept very clean and inviting. Jill has a welcoming smile that makes you feel well-cared for! We enjoyed sitting on the upstairs porch just off the bedroom.
This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast. Jill and Rob set the bar very high. The Ann Eliza Suite is both cozy and romantic. Jill makes an exquisite 3 course breakfast every morning. Highly recommend staying here. We will be back again soon!
Every possible aspect of Bella Rose was amazing! The beauty of this Victorian home was a delight to be in and enjoy. The décor was beautiful and comfortable. Jill and Rob are warm and friendly people who immediately make you feel welcome. There is parking behind the house which removes a potential stressor of "where do I park?" We stayed in the Ann Eliza's Suite. It was so pretty and ever so comfortable. Usually, in a new bed I don't sleep well the first night, however the mattress was wonderful and I woke refreshed. Our stay was 1/24- 1/26/2022 and it was a cold few days, however, the bedding had layers so you could use what you needed. The fire place made the suite ever so toasty. The love seat and ottoman made it cozy to sit and watch a DVD on the tv. The jacuzzi was most relaxing! The robes were soft and a delight to wrap up in after soaking in the tub. Downstairs in the "parlor", where you enter, besides a fire place and love seat, there are thoughtful little extras. There are candy dishes, a basket with chips, a refrigerator with soft drinks, a place to keep a bottle of wine chilled, drinking glasses, and into the dining room a Keurig with coffees and tea available to warm you up. Jill is an amazing cook and very creative! She prepared a three course breakfast, and even accommodated my food allergies and restrictions. Each morning a warm, fresh gluten-free baked item, then delicious fruit, and finally ending with a protein (eggs, meat, etc.). All the food was prepared in such an eye pleasing fashion. Jill provided help and advice on things to do and good restaurants to check out. She also answered all our many questions about the house. It is really an amazing story! This is definitely a place to return to for another visit!! Highly recommend!…
We really enjoyed our time at Bella Rose. Jill and Rob are very accommodating and made sure we were comfortable and on our way to fun activities within minutes. We found the suite was spacious and comfortable, with a big comfy bed and a relaxing couch and fireplace. It was enjoyable to talk with Jill and Rob each morning. They are fun and friendly, and provide great advice on what to tackle for the day. Of course, they also make an incredible breakfast each morning! Everything we had was absolutely delicious and we were excited for breakfast each morning. The location is also a very convenient and straight walk to downtown, giving you walkable access to tons of great locations - many restaurants, breweries, and shops. We will definitely stay at Bella Rose the next time in the area, which is hopefully soon!…
We loved everything about our stay at Bella Rose. The accommodations were very cozy and well appointed, the food was excellent, and our hosts were friendly. The interior is beautiful, with warm colors, comfortable furniture, and lots of woodwork. The location is good for walking to the "downtown" area filled with shops and eateries, with nice old homes to admire on your way there and back. Highly recommend, and we'll be visiting again in the coming years.
Proprietors, Jill and Rob, we’re very welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Jill gave us tips for wineries to visit and, not only recommend places to eat, but actually made reservations for us. We had a wonderful dinner at their private yacht club one evening. Breakfasts were superb - a 3-course breakfast each morning. The B&B itself was a beautiful restored Victorian home, very homey. We stayed in the beautifully decorated suite, complete with a very comfy bed, fireplace, jacuzzi tub, and an outside balcony—all the comforts of home and more! We highly recommend this very quaint and lovely B&B. Rosemary & Paul
We are neighbors of Bella Rose but needed a place to stay while work was being done on our home. We had a wonderful stay in Evie's Chamber. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were top notch. Jill is an excellent cook and the breakfasts were different each day and were always scrumptious. Jill and Rob are excellent hosts and Rob knows his coffee as my husband will attest. Thanks Jill and Rob. By the way Bella Rose is across the street from the Granger Homestead, another treasure in Canandaigua.
