This being the last resort in the Catskills, I must say that we were greatly surprised. The rooms were gigantic, well furnished, clean and comfortable. The place is very nice to look at and the staff is very good. The food was ok and the service was friendly. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were big and did not smell from... More

We appreciate you taking the time and sharing such a wonderful review with us! Villa Roma, for many years, has consistently grown from a small boarding house, to the sprawling resort you see today. We have added many additions over time, including a full array of amenities and restaurants so our guests always have something to do. We are a... More

This family oriented resort is a cruise on land. It has a daily sheet with activites scheduled throughout the day. My 13 year old son enjoyed the kickball contest, basketball tournament, teen lounge, video game room, & bowling. My 10 year old daughter enjoyed bingo, hair braiding with beads, turtle races, ceramics, & bouncy houses. The staff is friendly, place... More

WOW! What a great review! A cruise ship on land! Actually, our legendary social director, Doc Holiday, titled Villa Roma this on his first week here a few years ago! Each and every day, Doc and his team come up with a fun filled schedule with enough activities to keep you busy after breakfast thru dinner, and then after dinner... More

I traded a first class time share for a week at the Villa Roma. Well ... the rooms were clean but furniture and kitchen were OK but should be upgraded - example - kitchen countertops not marble, carpet thin, all of the furniture was on the less expensive side, towels were not plush. But there is a lot of things... More

Just returned from a weekend getaway with 200 women and it was amazing. The staff was so very accommodating. The food was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. There are plenty of diverse activities to keep everyone busy and happy. Leave the city behind, shut off the cell phone and drink in the scenery. A great getaway for families...... More

We appreciate you taking the time, and sharing your vacation experience with us. We are extremely disheartened to hear about your negative experience here at our resort. Our staff across the board, have taken a comprehensive hospitality training program, and are constantly reinforced throughout the year. We find this review hard to read as we have been receiving an overwhelming... More

After having a not so good experience in the fall, we returned this past weekend and had a wonderful experience. Our room was roomy and clean and the dining room was comfortable, food was good and the servers were great. It was very relaxing. Laurie in reservations was very helpful and understanding with our situation. We are anxious to go... More

We took a quick trip here from ct with my inlaws and found the room horrible, it smells and looks like it has not been updated since the 70s. We were in the unit above the deli. The couch has a wood v Board under the cushions which makes it slope down at a steep angle, feels like your on... More

We appreciate you taking the opportunity to share your review with us. We are a little concerned with some of your portrayals of our resort. Villa Roma constantly makes it a priority to ensure all of our units are clean, well kept, updated on a regular basis, and ready for our guests upon arrival. We respectfully disagree on some of... My first time to this resort . . .the bucolic location was just right as I live in a busy, noisy town on L.I. The hotel room was so spacious with a view that was OK. The particular room looked out at a pole with many power lines coming from it. A nearby stream made nice sounds when the windows... More

Thank you so much for taking the time and sharing your first time experience with us at Villa Roma for Jackie Horner's Dance Weekend! First time we have been at Villa Roma and we booked the Mother's Day package early enough to get the free upgrade. The room was very large, the bathroom was huge. We have a 3 year old and was very impressed by the family oriented atmosphere...and this was even before the outside pools were opened. We really enjoyed the bonfire... More

I attended a retreat & stayed 3 nights/2 days. I did not find one reason to complain during my stay. The staff was great & accommodated any addt'l request presented to them.
