We spent three nights in the upper Lodge (Hummingbird room). Our room was really nice - clean and comfortable. The bathroom was across the hall, but it was locked for our exclusive use. The best part of the room was sitting on the adirondack chairs on the deck overlooking the lake. Full breakfast at the Inn is included and was... More

My husband and I chose to stay at the Inn at Grist Iron for our honeymoon and it exceeded our expectations. The Inn is right along the Seneca wine/beer trail, and is about 10-15 minutes away from Watkins Glen state park. My husband and I stayed in the Fireside room and we were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and inviting... More

This establishment is very accommodating to their guests. My wife and I decided last minute that we wanted to stay on Seneca Lake and enjoy a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. We got what we asked for and then some. Clean inn, great breakfast, wonderful view and well kept grounds. Thanks for a good time.

WE spent three days there this summer and were really comfortable! The room was spotless and homey. The cooks and attendance (Michelle and Krista in particular) were really hospitable and knew their business. in particular, ask Michelle for some sour-cream Coffee cake for breakfast: moist and delicious!!! Love the panorama of Seneca Lake in the morning and evening.

The room was wonderful. Very comfortable, clean, plenty of storage. We had a nice family setup - couple in one room and single in other room. Shared bath and small common area with fridge and coffee maker. Breakfast each morning was very good. Also enjoyed the Brewery, food and entertainment. Very convenient to all the Seneca Lake wineries/resturants. I highly... More

Beautiful location and accommodations. I had my own large room with a Queen size bed. My son and daughter in law, had a king size bed in their room and we shared a bath. A refrigerator, coffee set up and wine glasses were in the connecting hall. In fact the owners had thought of everything down to flashlights during a... More

This is our second stay at the inn. We absolutely love it. We stayed in the maple room on the second floor. It was spacious and contained all the amenities we could have needed. The staff as always is very friendly. Breakfast as always is plentiful and delicious. Great location to the wineries and all the hiking trails and the... More

Great view of the lake. Fire pit was relaxing to sit by in the evenings. Decent beer at the brewery. Fantastic breakfast included! Location is close to many great wineries. Watkins Glen is a short drive away.

We stayed just one night at the Inn and it was fantastic! The room was huge, set up beautifully and had everything we needed. It is right next door to The Grist Iron so we walked on over and spent the afternoon enjoying the food, drink, games and mostly the gorgeous view of Seneca Lake. The next morning we went... More

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again. The sunsets from our room were amazing! The brewery was right next door on the property , within walking distance. They had good food and great beer!
