We really enjoyed our stay at Seneca Sol. Our tent was decorated beautifully and very comfortable too. It was a great location, close to everything we wanted to see. Christine has great recommendations on things to see and do.
I have always wanted to "glamp" and Seneca Sol did not disappoint. We had a large canvas tent with a king size very comfortable bed and lots of room. Everything was clean and well maintained. Can't wait to go back!
Beyond friendly and accomodating owners. Each morning their are homemade pasteries and lots of other breakfast goodies. It rained one night and it was a bit muddy so they put out rain boots for everyone to use if they needed them. beautiful bathroom. Four ladies fit in the tent just fine. It is very peaceful and quiet but only a few minutes from a dozen wineries. I can't wait to go back!
We stayed here for one night of our cross country road trip. We selected Seneca Sol because we have stayed at other glamping locations out west and enjoyed them plus...a huge plus for us was they are pet friendly! The host was friendly and showed us around when we arrived. Our tent was perfect for us and we loved the deck off the back. Our bed was comfortable and we had plenty of space. They have nice walking trails to explore. The bathrooms/showers were spotless and they provided everything you may need as far as shampoo/conditioner/body wash, towels, hairdryer etc. I would have given a perfect rating however, my personal sticking point which may or may not matter to others was the flooring in the tent. It didn't have screen beneath the planks and I was a little wiggy about insects joining us for the night. Otherwise the experience was terrific.…
Cameron and Christina have provided a fabulous “glamping” experience. Well furnished, super comfortable tents, immaculate shower room and bathrooms, delicious coffee, lovely campfire. True hospitality in the beautiful Finger Lake area. So happy!!
My sister and I went glamping for the very first time and loved every minute! The wineries, kayaking, town browsing, hanging out reading and having smores by the fire each night were so fun and peaceful! We felt so safe and well protected as we slept soundly in our comfy beds! We definitely recommend this place! It is a must see!
Not the least bit pretentious. Super clean & equipped with all the essentials. Lovely property, conveniently located to nearby attractions. Hosts have done a wonderful job in creating this family friendly space. Exceeded our expectations!
Although I never heard of glamping, I know know and appreciate it. Seneca Sol is great, easy to get to, the owners are very personable, breakfast is awesome and the showers even better. For someone who doesn’t mind camping, it was nice to just pull up and unpack your bags, walk into your canvas tent, and walk down to a pre made fire at the end of the night. I would suggest bucking a wine tour with the owners, it is much easier to hit the good ones and all without worrying about having too many samples.
We traveled to Seneca Sol for a girls trip. The tents were clean and spacious. The bathhouse was luxurious and always stocked with towels. We were lucky enough to talk with the owners on a daily basis to let us know their recommendations for sight seeing and events. It would have been helpful to have a list in advance of what constituted a "stocked outdoor kitchen". We improvised with cooking and had fun in the process. Plan on bringing a cooler with ice, as the fridge is quite small. Overall, I had a wonderful first glamping experience!
What an incredible experience! My husband and I stayed in one of the Teepees and had a wonderful time. We roasted marshmallows before the rain came, and then enjoyed a peaceful evening in our completely weather proof accommodations. The bathrooms and showers were 5 star hotel quality, and Cameron and Christine were fantastic hosts. We'll be back, for sure!
