Really nice. Clean. Beautiful decor. Friendly staff. Comfy beds. Quiet rooms. We were really pleased. Very much recommended. About a 20$ taxi ride from Times Square and 15$ from Central Park. Considering the excellent price and quality, well worth it. Stayed 3 nights. Reserve if you can a spot in their parking. Super secure.

Like everyone has said, this hotel is a gem. Seriously like a diamond in the rough. The value is definitely worth the product/service. The bathroom fixtures are updated to chic Italian. The room is very comfortable with the exception of the subway background noise, but we were at the front if the building/street-side and it still wasn't all that bad....

Comfortable, truly the best Mexican restaurant...I didn't stay long enough to visit the Dominican restaurant. It's less than 1/2 hour up from Manhattan on the 2 train - so I didn't find the location difficult to get to.

The hotel is way far away from downtown where the most of the tourists would like to spend the days in NYC. It´s a great choice if your business is in Bronx or even in Harlem, but if you are mostly interested in hanging out in downtown Manhattan, you will be spending too much time in the underground taking and...

We were a little skeptical to stay in the Bronx, but it was close to where we wanted to be,and the subway was right there. After calling to question a very fortunate Duke about the hotel and the area we booked with him,he was great and put our minds at ease. We enjoyed our stay and the staff were excellent,Duke always had...

Just spent 4 nights with group of friends. Friendly, helpful staff. Spacious rooms. The most comfy bed I have ever slept in. Close to subway. Great Mexican and Dominican restaurants next door. I will definitely stay there again.

We have just stayed for 6 nights at this hotel and find it hard to fault in anyway. On a previous trip to NY city our room was half the size and cost way more. Reception staff were.all very helpful but Duke shines with his great personality. In our booking breakfast was included and was quite adequate. The subway is...

We have just returned from four days in New York, in part to take in baseball at the Yankee Stadium, which is a five minute ($10 or less) cab ride, or one subway stop from the Opera House hotel. We traveled with our two children, a boy, 8 and a girl, 11. We had a fantastic time. The customer service...

Great hotel which is close to the express subway and Yankee Stadium (go see a game if you can!). Large modern rooms in the historic Bronx Opera House building, where the Marx Bros played in the 1930's! Very clean. Highly recommend.
