Exquisite hotel. Lovely atmosphere. Great for events. If you are a fan of classic beauty and a welcoming environment the Binghamton Grand Royale is the place for you to be. Loved the ballroom and the bar and service is flawless.

I picked this hotel because it's in downtown Binghamton and easy walk to the Broome County Forum for a concert on 2/16/17. Price I paid was $70 plus $9 tax. Upon arrival I found a "historic" (old) hotel that in its day 40 years ago was likely "Grand"; unkept and visibly lack of cleaning in stairwell, floors; Now I'm surprised...

I lived in downtown Binghamton from 2003 to 2014 and watched as the Grand Royale faded into obscurity. I returned last week for an evening stay and was hesitant about staying at the Grand Royale, but upon check-in I was instantly impressed. The renovations undertaken by the new owners make your stay more than economical. The room was immaculate and...

I stayed over a dozen times through 2016. The 1897 Beaux Arts architecture is home to an enchanting, unique and very reasonably priced hotel. It is a downtown landmark, with rooms as well-appointed as nearby chains, amidst grace and beauty of a more elegant era, a century ago. On premises manager always helpful and courteous. The location is adjacent to...

This is the worst hotel I've ever been in my life. I wouldn't call it a hotel honestly because the value of what you get is even less than what you get in a motel. First the staff doesn't know the basics of customer service, it took 25 mins to get to our room because the key wouldn't work, after...

Let's talk about dirty towels on the back of the bathroom door, broken completely lopsided beds, views of busted AC units, no remote for the tv, having to walk up and down 5 flights of stairs that are dirtier than anything I've ever seen, a small child behind the joke of a bar they have, some random 'lounge' room that...
