Our stay at Mt. Beacon was great. Barbara and her daughter Lauren were very friendly but not intrusive. They pretty much gave us the information we needed and left us alone. The house is beautiful and maintained well. We chose the master suite and it's a big room, with a walk in closet, nice bathroom, and a small living room... More

Only spend a single night during a weekend in Beacon. This B&B is well located near the trail head of a hike to mt beacon. Lovely woman who runs the place makes and excellent breakfast. Only issue is that the walls are very thin. You will hear everything and you will be heard !

The Mt. Beacon Bed and Breakfast is a little over a mile away from the Metro North Station (a $6 cab ride, or a nice walk if you don't have any luggage). You might have to give Barbara a call when you arrive, but as soon as you're in she'll be sure to give you a full and thorough tour... More

We arrived at around 1:45pm. While we knew check in was at 3pm, we figured we'd at least see if the room was ready early. If it wasn't, we could drop off our bags and go into town until it was ready. We went to the front door and rang the bell but there was no response. So we called... More

Walking distance to downtown, very close to the head of the trail up Mt. Beacon. The price was ok -- not cheap, but reasonable for all things considered. I've not stayed in many B&Bs before. This was a good experience. Clean. Comfortable. Tastefully furnished and decorated -- it's a beautiful old house. Breakfast was good (though I would have liked... More

On a road trip this past August and looking for a place for one night, I was lucky enough to book a stay at Mt. Beacon Bed and Breakfast in Beacon, NY. Owner Barbara was warm and welcoming from the start, especially considering that I arrived several hours later than what I'd said. It's a gorgeous home, and Barbara showed... More

This past spring I stayed at the Mt. Beacon Bed and Breakfast and had a very enjoyable stay. The B&B is immaculate and the hostess is very nice. The breakfast was delicious also! Mt. Beacon B&B is a little over a mile walk from the Beacon Metro-North Station. The walk isn't too bad as long as you're not carrying a... More

We stayed for two nights for a wedding anniversary. Barbara and Lauren were both extremely friendly and hospitable. We stayed in the French country room which was very nicely decorated and comfortable. The bathroom is on an adjacent landing but still feels private. The pool was a very nice addition as it was roasting hot. Breakfast was delicious - waffles... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay here. We liked the accommodations and Barbara and Lauren are friendly and knowledgeable. Most importantly, the breakfast was outstanding including the best coffee ever!

I work for a chocolate company that has me travel a lot and my fiancé and I travel quite often as well so we have many experiences to reference from. I stayed at a Ramada close by that was very run down and I wanted out fast. I was also visiting in-laws and wanted a positive experience for my fiancé... More
