Selinda Explorers Camp is poised in a remote, treasured and crucial gathering point for the wildlife along the famous Selinda Spillway of Botswana's 320 000 acre private Selinda Reserve. Guests are encouraged to explore outside of the game drive vehicle, by foot and canoe. This classic camp, consisting of four custom-designed tents, transports us back to bygone era of authentic safaris.

Last year, we had the pleasure of staying at Selinda Camp. We loved it so much that we wanted to return this year. Well, Selinda Camp is undergoing a complete rebuild, so we had two options within the Great Plains portfolio in the Selinda area; splurge and stay at Zarafa Camp,

We take pride in everything we do to make sure that you have a comfortable stay with us. Mokopi is a great guide, his ability to track, spot and interpret animals behavior is best to none. And Doctor compliment him quiet well, they are the best duo. We hope to see you soon. Best regards Selinda Explorers team,

This camp is so beautiful you will never want to leave. The army grade huge tents are very comfortable, the private outdoor bathrooms luxurious and the attention to detail in every aspect of their service explains the pricing. We ended our 12 days in Botswana here and were not

Very authentic camp. Although the Selinda Spillway was dry, we had unbelievable experiences with our guide Joseph. Thanks also to the staff and the management for the warm welcome and the fantastic stay in this camp.

Selinda Explorer was a magical place located in the most beautiful setting. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Parks, our guide, was incredibly knowledgable, thoughtful, knew the perfect position for the best photograph and found us such special moments with the wildlife.

What a lovely review, thank you so much! The night drives is one of the many great aspects of being on a private concession where one also hardly sees any traffic, apart from the elephant herds of course! Sadly the canoeing activity is only available during the winter months, roughly between June - August, as we depend on the flood levels being high during this time of the year. In the summer we enjoy long days exploring the areas by vehicle or by foot, with the days ending in the most magnificent sunsets to be seen this time of year (with G&T in hand of course!) and those exciting night drives you mentioned. Kindest regards, The Selinda Explorers Team

I bought a Botswana adaptor on amazon which was very helpful. They have charging stations in the main area and one extra plug in the room.
