The renowned Duba Plains Camp sits in the heart the Okavango Delta. A recent guest said it all, “I am not a religious person but I now understand that the Garden of Eden can now, in fact, be found at Duba Plains.” A matrix of palm-dotted islands, floodplains and woodland, the 77,000-acre private concession typifies the region’s unique landscape. Duba Plains offers a bespoke range of private, raised on wooden decking suites, each with private swimming pools, outside salas, airconditioning over the beds, indoor and outdoor showers and brass baths. Duba Plains is a proud member of Relais & Chateaux.

My husband and I, along with another couple visited Great Plains Conservation Duba Plains Camp in March, 2019. It was an incredible experience! Our "tent" was luxuriously huge and well appointed with lots of wood accents and a brass claw-footed bathtub. The staff there are warm

This was our second safari, and I'm so glad we added Duba Plains to our itinerary. The camp is spectacular, the photos are a very true representation. The tents were absolutely immense and you really feel as if you're in a 5 star hotel room, but in the middle of nowhere. Plus

Is this property navigable by seniors with limited mobility?
It belongs to your limitation. May be the way to the mail hall is movable. I suggest to ask direct into the lodge especially how to get into the jeeps for the drivings. With respect to the floods and the level of the onkawanka river the jeeps need to be higher ones then in other lodges. If you are able to travel to the lodge - it is one of the best we have seen. Best regards F. J.

Is off-roading allowed at Duba Plains?
Yes! One of the many reasons I love it so much. I've been in both seasons (very dry and little water in December/January and tons of water in July) and you can off road during both seasons. When water levels permit, you can even take a boat to explore.

Hi there ! This year we are focussing on opening up that part of the concession. Given the amount of water that is in that area, year round, we would only be able to access Paradise Island by boat. We have been doing a lot of exploring in that area and we look forward to offering a trip by boat to this area. We looking forward to your stay!
