From the time we landed, stepped into motor boats and docked at Xudum, I was totally enamored. As with all the andBeyond camps I visited on this trip, the staff is what makes the experience over the top. They do whatever it takes to ensure your experience is everything you dreamed. The accommodations at this camp were absolutely wonderful -...

Xudum was my introduction to the Okavango Delta and what an introduction it was!! The boat trip to the camp through the Delta was amazing! Elephants, hippo, red lechwe, monitor lizard and so many fabulous birds!! The concession area is smaller than some of the other camps I visited but I saw so many wonderful things: elephant, zebra, giraffe, leopard,...

We loved our experience at Xudum - the service and friendliness of the staff were wonderful. Our safari experience on the water here was less than the other two camps we stayed at, save a beautiful pride of lions that we got to watch. But the water experience with the boats and mokoros are a peaceful way of exploring the...

Real rustic luxury with a fantastic staff. I was traveling with my two kids, 11 and 14, and the staff could not have been more helpful or friendlier. Arriving back to the cabin after a day of game drives and finding a bubblebath and a bottle of sparkling wine all set up was a great touch. The food, the location...

It's a lovely camp. Staff are really friendly. The food was wonderful and so much of it. You get a wonderful welcome when you arrive of the staff singing, In fact they sang every night while we were having dinner and they looked like they enjoyed it so much. Trips great, lovely sundowners on the boat at sunset. Great birds...

Our group of 14 stayed here for 2 nights in the middle of our safari trip. With the travel time to and from the airstrip (one hour by boat), we did not have as much time here to get to know the staff as we did at the other camps. The rooms are beautiful and unique, each having a huge...

We had had such a busy time in Kenya and Tanzania, so arriving in the Delta to such a beautiful peaceful setting surrounded by water was a welcoming experience. The staff were just amazing, the open air dining setting was just beautiful. The food was amazing, and our room was set in the trees, so they blended in with the...

We stayed here in mid July and it was a WONDERFUL experience. I cant say enough about the friendliness of the staff, they went out of their way to make our stay special. The management, Skipper and Tsebe, were so accommodating and always wanted to make sure that our needs were met. The food was outstanding, homemade soups and fresh...

After having stayed in several andBeyond camps and lodges in several countries in Africa, this camp needed a bit of love and care on some of the buildings to bring it up to the standard of the other camps and lodges. Our lodge had steps up to a roof area which had a day bed and several of the steps...

This was our 12th safari and we specifically chose and Beyond after previously positive experiences in South Africa and Tanzania. The Delta provides a radically different experience because of the water and it was a real delight. Being transported to the hotel from the airstrip by boat wad amazing with hippos in the water on the way! The rooms were...
