This is the worst so far on our African Safari (7 days left out of 35). The sites are uneven and there is no shade. Big problem if you are in a pop up or Hylux with roof mounted tents. There is a canopy area for a small tent which may be shaded dependent on the time of day. There... More

The best thing about this place is the setting amongst the amazing baobob trees. It has more of a resort feel to it than the other safari lodges/camps we stayed at. The round huts are very cute. The large patio area in front of each one would have been enhanced but some kind of lounge chair since, other than the... More

Fantastic camping trip to the pans on quad bikes!  So many stars and we had an amazing steak dinner.  Our guide Robert was very knowledgeable and took good care of us.  The meerkat stopover was great, you get incredibly close to them -- they will sniff your hand/boots close!  Do bring a scarf to cover the mouth and nose because... We honestly LOVED Plant Baobab. The staff was super friendly, very assisting. Their breakfast was super amazing and the rooms were very clean, welcoming and neat. This was definitely the highlight of our trip! Wish we could have stayed another night. We will be back! Thank you

I love this place. I just can not stop popping in when I have time. Situated in Gweta between Nata and Maun. Full of very old baobab trees... A pond just behind the fence of the lodge where elephants come and drink in the evening and a lot more. Very nice bar and a swimming pool. Nice place to be!

We were celebrating 2 girls birthdays! Our group consisted out of 8 girls. Planet Baobab did everything they could to accommodate us. Nothing was ever impossible for them. I just want to say thanks to BK our guide for looking after all of us with a smile. We saw the Meerkats and really enjoyed sleeping over in the pans. The... More

Weather was gorgeous and dry hot. We stopped for a drink amd stayed for bite which was exceptionally good. The decor of the place is really magnificent, pool clean and gorgeous, overall a little gem and would certainly consider staying there when we cone back.

The quad bike tour and sleeping under the stars with a stop to see the cute meerkats was a huge highlight to our trip. BK our guide was fantastic and made it so great with fun games, stories and info about the area. The pool back at the homefront was a pleasure to relax by and dinner and breakfast were... More

We didn't stay at Planet Baobab but visited/stopped for some drinks and lunch. Not a good idea if you are planning on getting some traveling done as you can wait at least 45 minutes for a meal. And the food is very mediocre. While am sure it is fine for a leisurely weekend I do not suggest a stop here... More
