If you have been reading previous reviews here, it's important that you know that Meno a Kwena has now upgraded all their tents and they are large, airy and have ensuite bathroom and showers. The beds are super comfy, their is a power charging bar that takes USB cords and plugs (make sure you have an adapter). Toiletries such as...

We stayed two nights at Meno A Kwena and had a fantastic time there. The road transfer from Maun to Meno A Kwena takes approx. 1.5 hours. Meno has 8 tents – all renovated. The tents are very comfortable with an inside bathroom with running water. There is also the opportunity to use an outside bucket shower. The view from...

Arriving at Meno a Kwena was a real surprise. The lodge is beautiful and very convivial with the fire place being the center of the space. As the lodge oversees the river the view is really breathtaking, especially as when we arrived there were probably over 100 zebras drinking in the river. The rooms are brand new and very nicely...

We stayed here for 4 days at the start of our trip to the Delta. It was a fabulous place to recover from our long flight travel. The camp is excellent - the tents are great, spacious and clean with lots of hot water for in-suite showers; the communal living area is relaxed and lovely; and the view over the...

My wife and I spent a couple of nights here on our safari through Botswana. It was the last place we stayed, out of five camps and lodges. We flew to Maun and were promptly picked up at the airport. It was a long drive to the camp, over an hour. The camp was very welcoming with a number of...

Stayed two nights. Lovely tents just a bit small. You have a tent and then a separate shower and toilet area. My only issue is that at 3 am you just don't want to put on your shoes to go outside. But it was fine. I loved the outside showers. One bucket is just enough to make you feel amazing....

Many thanks for your feedback. Our tents are being giving a fresh, new look and we hope to have them all completed as early as next month. Each of the new tents will be bigger and will also include both en-suite and outdoor bathroom facilities. We aim to keep the look and feel of the camp and the tents the...

What's best about Meno A Kena is the way it is laid out (the communal area), its view, and of course its staff. During our 2 week self-drive camping trip from Zambia - Zimbabwe - Botswana (with 3 kids), Meno A Kena offered a real treat of luxury, warmth, comfort and Kindness. I would suggest staying here to everyone!

This was a really outstanding lodge. A beautiful location, lovely accommodation and really welcoming staff. Particularly loved the floating hide and sitting watching herds of elephant crossing the river.

Hello Kathy, Thank you so much for your feedback. It's those moments of mindfulness that one can experience best at Meno a Kwena Camp along the Boteti River of Botswana. We hope to welcome you back for some more unobtrusive wildlife viewing and warm hospitality. Kind Regards, Kim Wagner marketing@menoakwena.com

The view over the river is the best. Once there were 42 elephants visible and countless zebra. The camp staff is flexible and will do what you want. I did a night drive and got an Ardwolf. Classic camp life and the expected great food.

The bushman walk offered here is also a highlight of many visits for guests of all ages. This fully inclusive camp offers nine fully serviced, en suite Meru tents that hark to halcyon days on safari. A traditional fenced boma partly envelops each of the tents, whilst outside, a bucket shower with a view complete the picture. Away from the rooms there are multiple spots for guests to enjoy alone or spend time with their fellow travellers, be it in the floating photographic hide, in the relaxed lounge area overlooking the river, or at the bar. For those keen to brush up on their knowledge before the next drive there's a library and dining area, for a drop of sun meanwhile the pool area is undeniably tempting.
