Owner/manager was very personable and we felt very welcome. This is an older motel, but the room was very pleasant. Tiled floors, king-sized bed, hot water on demand, Direct TV, soft fluffy towels, soft sheets, refrigerator and microwave, quiet, close to gas stations and easy to find as it was located off I-25 across from the Shell station. Major restaurants...

My boyfriend and I were traveling from Wisconsin to Tucson and we found this place for our last night on the road. It was the best place that we stayed in the whole trip! I felt extremely safe and comfortable. Even though we got to the motel at a late time, we were still able to get a room and...

We only stayed here for one night on our journey from Alamosa to Tucson but so wished we had longer to stay. The motel is situated in Williamsburg but the suburb joins up with Truth or Consequences which has several eateries and some interesting looking antique shops. Elephant Butte State Park and Dam about 5 miles away. We were upgraded...

A taste of New Mexico's Art and very friendly. A healing atmosphere. Lodging was affordable, rooms were clean and the office did an excellent job in accommodating three traveler's on the road. Conveniently located as we were tired on our trip back to California and needed to stop and rest. Continental breakfast was available when we were ready to roll,...

I stayed here while doing a road trip from Tucson to Colorado. As a solo female traveler, I want to be sure of the facilities. I normally avoid rooms that open to the outdoors but I took a chance on the Rio Grande and it was wonderful. You meet the owners at check-in and over coffee & breakfast snacks in...

The motel is older but very nice. It was clean comfortable & a continental breakfast was available. The owner himself came to check if all was fine which was a nice surprise. We would definitely book from them again.

This motel is a study in contrasts. Easy access adjacent to the interstate, the office and the older motel room were neat and tidy - with eclectic furnishings and a mini fridge. The bed was very comfortable, and we had a great night. However - at check-in we immediately encountered a large live roach in the bathroom and another dead...

The first motel we saw when we drove into town, the landscaping, lights and decor caught my eye immediately. The office staff greeted us with a warm smile. Everything felt welcoming and spotless. We checked in and noticed other guests sitting out on their patio enjoying the beautiful evening. The room had everything we could need, it all was clean...

If there is a bug in New Mexico you'd like to see, come to the Rio Grande Motel. There will be a parade of local pests in your room. The owner is too cheap to spend money on pest control so there's no chance you'll miss seeing even a single one.
