We were a party of 8 - stopped for lunch on our way through. Glad we did, lovely courtyard although we chose to eat in the quaint restaurant inside. Well constructed menu with something for everyone on there. Prices were reasonable and service was excellent. Quality of food was excellent with generous portions. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely setting at the back of the house/shopfront. Best to order from the chefs recommendations. Good food and excellent service - value for money. Sandy the owner is s gracious host and a master chef. The goodies for sale in the shop are well worth spending time on.

We stopped for breakfast - the meal was well portioned and tasty. The staff are friendly and lovely to chat to. We sat at a nice table with the winter son on our back - delightful. Would stop again for a meal while travelling.

Good food at the restaurant. Great staff and a lovely garden. Excellent quiche and other treats from the deli, which we bought to take back to our self-catering cottage for breakfast the next day. They also sell nuts, honey, and dried figs and other goods in the shop.

The gas station attendant recommended the Rose of Karoo to us and we enjoyed a very nice light meal there. The owner is very helpful and has a delightful personality, and she has stocked her store with a wide variety of locally baked goods (both sweet and savoury), and gifts. There are tables inside as well as on the rear...

We stopped here on a trip to Die Hell. What a lovely place to relax and have a cup of coffee out in the garden. It was sunny but cool day, but the back garden was protected and warm. I had an home made apple crumble with my coffee while my wife had the soap of the day. We enjoyed...

Wanted good quality home cooked food - found it in this very unassuming place from the outside - cool evening and there was a real fire! Evening menu limited but if you want more choices you can go across the road. It is neat and clean - personally I find the bright lights for the evening meal very off putting!...

We found this place on a recommendation, and were pleasantly surprised. The place is very unassuming, cosy, neat and clean. It is exceptionally cheap, and obviously really value for money. The people were wonderful, welcoming and friendly, and went out of their way to accommodate us. The food is home made and absolutely delicious, we left there with a whole...
