We spent three wonderful and relaxing nights at Bottlebrush Cottage. The cottage had everything you would need and was extremely comfortable. The massive fenced in yard was perfect for our two dogs to run around and play. The view form the cottage was amazing and it all lends itself to ensuring you can have a total relax and de-stress. We... More

This was our first visit, but certainly not the last. What a beautiful setting in the middle of nowhere. We stayed in the Farmhouse which is fully fenced and extremely spacious. The open plan kitchen/lounge is enormous and well furnished. The outdoor shower is fantastic, fortunately it was still warm, but there is an alternative indoors. The only criticism would... More

We stayed in the Farmhouse which was an absolute gem! It was great to sit around the fireplace and take in the wonderful views with nothing around you but peace and quiet. It's quite spacious and has a lovely fireplace and a great outdoor shower as well. The Farmhouse is also fenced all around so it was great to just... More

We stayed midweek at the Farm which works out considerably cheaper than during weekends and peak periods. The Farm House sleeps 6 and has a bathroom and outside shower at one end of the house and another shower room outside by the kitchen. Having the ability to take the dogs and having the accommodation fenced was a real asset for... More

We stayed in the Farmhouse, which is fenced all round. This means we could let our dogs run around freely, which they loved. The Farmhouse was very well equipped with a stove, microwave, large fridge, warm water bottles, all the cutlery and pots you could ever need, a heater and lots of extra blankets for cold nights. There is also... More

We stayed in bald Ibis cottage. It is situated overlooking the river and is private and away from other cottages. My children enjoyed swimming by the waterfall. Our Scottish terrier had a lovely time with us. Although no fish was caught we will be back to try again. Kids enjoyed seeing zebra and other animals. The cottage and surrounds are... More

This has been the fourth time that I am priviledged enough to celebrate my birthday at this wonderful, relaxing, peaceful, quiet venue. Sharing the wide open space with friends, dogs, my first born son, sheep, cattle & various wildlife makes this a very special place for us. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!

This is an incredible property to escape from it all. I thoroughly enjoyed my three nights here. There is more than enough space and everything you need to have a comfortable stay. There is two BBQ (Braai) options and a lovely fireplace, a well equipped kitchen, lounge with DSTV (cable channels) 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with a large outdoor... More

This was our 2nd trip this year to Highland Giants. This time we stayed at the Bald Ibis Cottage. Very secluded and just the place to relax. Not to mention the zebra, blesbok and reedbuck that showed up on the lawn in front of the cottage. The solitude is just phenominal. The view from the cellphone tower is excellent and... More

Spacious and clean but in need of a bit of maintenance. Small things like mixer taps loose in the kitchen and our room. Cords on the roller blinds in our room were broken so the blinds never worked properly. Otherwise nice stay, lovely fire place with plenty of wood, it was very cold when we stayed. The men fished and... More

Many thanks for your review and visiting our farm. If you can let us know which cottage you were in we can look into the maintenance issues. Regarding the lack of seeing any one, we do make it clear in our literature that we will not bother anyone but are available should a guest request it. The majority of our... More
