Honestly, this is a little piece of heaven. Beautiful Stone houses which just look picturesque. We stayed in Flufftail, which overlooks one of the trout dams. Cleanliness is 10 out of 10. The staff were friendly and simply amazing - they even surprised us on Saturday at 8am with a hot fresh loaf of bread. It was delicious! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the 7 dams and the call of a Fish Eagle in the morning and evening - amazing. We saw amazing Birdlife and even a couple of antelope. We will definitely be going back! Simply amazing.

What can we say, beautiful surroundings, incredible staff, wonderful accommodation. Fishing waters pristine (Though there could be more fish, then again it could have been just that we weren't that "gifted"). Will recommend this venue to anyone. Thanks a stack.

What a wonderful find this gem is! It is the best place we have stayed in dullstroom! The staff are friendly and helpful, the cottage we stayed in is beautiful (fluff tail cottage) . The fishing is great and the reserve surrounding the resort is scenic and teeming with wildlife. There is a lot for kids as well as adults to do , tennis, even bikes for kids to use. A splash pool and sauna. The list goes on. I will be back for sure! SIMPLY WONDERFUL!

We have been to Stone Lodge at Elands Valley many times before and we are never disappointed. We spent the longweekend from 22 - 26 October 2015 at Stone Lodge with friends. Although we arrived late on Thursday evening we received a warm welcome as usual from the staff and they helped us unpack our cars and carried all our belongings into the farm house. On Friday mornign we received home baked bread which was a treat. The weekend was spent fly fishing by the men and kids, us ladies sitting on the veranda driking wine and chatting, everyone going for walks after the afternoon rain and just generally relaxing.

We stayed in the Strawberry Fields cottage and it was absolutely beautiful. The entire Elands Valley, is so well looked after and the staff are simply amazing. You are greeted with smiles from the moment you arrive to the time you leave. Not too mention the very yummy, hot, home made bread, first thing in the morning and the fires lit to keep you warm and toasty when you arrive. The dams are fully stocked and makes fishing a truly splendid experience! We will definitely be back!! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!
