Lovely and rustic. Shona's place is a cottage separate from the main complex. Stayed there 8 yrs ago and again this week. We have also stayed in the main complex recently whilst on motorcycle trip. Main complex was great. Shona's place however needs serious maintenance. Although sleeping space for 4, the furniture, old and worn, only caters for 2. No... More

We are a family with 3 children ranging from 3 - 11 yrs and we stayed at The Barn cottage for five days. Its a old farmhouse, windows needs a bit of tlc but otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very spacious and well equiped with absolutely lovely views over a dam. The kids loved the dogs,... More

Go country has got a farm-like feel to it. It is set against a hill with and has got a very romantic athmosphere. There are several cottages and we stayed in The Homestead, which has got 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. They owner is very friendly and kind and made us feel most welcome. The cottage is spacious and there are... More

A quick trip to Dullstroom for an overnighter .... Needed to check out a few options for a future group adventure. Warmly greeted upon arrival by Tiffany, who gave us all the ins and outs of the accommodation. I loved the rustic ambience of the houses/cottages, and the rambling gardens with the beautiful landscape in the distance. Our little 'home'... More

It was our wedding anniversary, we packed our bags and headed to Dullsstroom together with our 9 month old daughter we were looking for a little place away from the city, Go Country was it, tranquil, beautiful, away from it all. It has all you need, and the owners are simply fantastic and welcoming. Upon arrival we had champagne waiting... More

We travelled from Swaziland to Dullstroom in a group of 4, and spent a weekend in Go Country. This farm house is located in a beautiful settings, with Horses, Trout Lake, BBQ facilities, etc. We were put in a lovely massive house (can't remember the name but the one closest to the lake). We absolutely loved each and every single... More

This was our first visit to Go Country. Although the restaurant is not in operation anymore, it is still a great place to spend a relaxing weekend and enjoy the fresh farm atmosphere and setting. Paul and Tiffany are charming hosts and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We stayed in Shona's Place farm cottage and... More

The new owners are nice but it no longer as the advertised facilities namely clean 4 star accomodation, no resturant or spa, no hiking paths. The nature setting is beautiful but road to gain acess to the farm is not advisable for normal commercial vehicles. you need a 4x4 with high suspension. The rooms were small and dirty. the cleaners... More

Luckily, my girlfriend and I managed to get a last minute booking at Go Country Estate. All I can say is wow! This self-catering farm lodge is full of things to do. I had never picked up a fly fishing rod in my life so after borrowing one from a friend and driving to Dullstroom, I went to the local... More

This resort/trout farm has had a number of incarnations - previously "The Trout Lodge" then a stalled development as a polo estate called "Go Polo" - it now has a new management couple of David (manager/front of house) and Christina (Chef). The accommodation is in a farm house and number of related outbuildings. Its rustic, and David is clearly still... More
