The area is great but the service was not great. We arrived on Sunday and were lucky to get private lessons for the girls. We tried the next day and no luck, All lessons sold out. They open at 8:00 so we left early to stand in line on Tuesday. We were in line by 7:30 and waited until 9:30...

I'd hate for the secret of Sipapu to get out but I want to give credit where it is do: Michael- Seem to host our little family everywhere we went. He greeted us at 8:30 PM at our arrival. Made 2 trips to our cabin that night accommodating our requests. He's a great bartender and all round good host. The...

This was our second year going to Sipapu for our family ski trip. We absolutely love it here. The mountain has all levels of runs. We feel very comfortable letting the kids ski and do their own thing because we know we will meet back up with them at the bottom of the hill. Great little find and they have...

The best part of Sipapu is its still a well-kept secret. Its not busy. There's not people everywhere you turn. Sipapu is amazing for a quick weekend getaway. We go yearly and have yet to be disappointed! The cabins & duplexes are all very well maintained and look great for the price! At the main building they have a closet...

Just got back from a 4 day trip at Sipapu and had a blast! This was only my second time skiing. Last year I went to Winter Park in Colorado which was pretty opposite of Sipapu. This place is much much smaller but it was perfect for beginning skiers like myself. Even people in my group that are much more...

Sipapu was our family's first foray into the world of skiing, and it did not disappoint! We had such a great time! We missed out on ski lessons because they sold out, but we muddled through and had a fantastic time! The area is beautiful, the slopes are nice, and the staff was very accommodating. My 7 year old said...

I can't say that I utilized their lodging, or ate at the cafe. I checked it out, but was repelled by the smell of antiquated cooking oil. They have great fudge in the sport shop, which carries no odor to indicate it originated upstairs. Everyone was friendly, though. The upper mountain has great tree skiing, and there's plenty of groomer...

We have enjoyed skiing at Sipapu for years. We enjoy their runs and the lift staff is friendly. There are rarely lines for the lift. The "suites" offer good space for a family, but are not fancy (no phone which us fine, limited kitchenware). We have often run into little issues, this year we had no power or last day....

We always have a good time skiing and snowboarding at Sipapu, but the last few years our trips have been fantastic! Great slopes, good food and Mike the bartender is awesome! We had a couple of extra spicy Bloody Mary's and they were delicious!
