We stayed in the Dragon room, and it was much better than anticipated! Painted red wood floors, comfortable mattress, great vintage art and decor going with the Japanese theme. Also loved the private bath hot springs--worth the price of the stay and very peaceful.

For many years, I've been visiting T or C. Generally, we stay at the Firewater bc it's dog friendly. On our most recent visit, we added an extra family member to our previously booked T or C visit. We were staying in a different location....one, which was already booked. Wooed by the bright buildings, and great testimonies from our friends;... More

Loved the Loft room!! It gave us a great central location to hang out with our friends and play games. Also, loved utilizing the full kitchen in the main bldg. Loved the large hot tub at the far end of the main bldg (sat 7 comfortably)!!! Everything was clean and there were plenty of supplies (plates, wine glasses, towels). The... More

Connie,Belinda and Grace each contributed to an overall fun weekend. This is one of many visits I've made and I keep coming back- comfortable beds, wild decorating schemes make this the preferred T or C destination. Keep up the good work.

In my opinion, Pelican Spa is quintessential New Mexico. It is colorful, funky, and perfectly imperfect. Pelican Spa is housed in a historic building. It was built in 1939 as a, you guessed it, motel and mineral (hot spring) house. The original, vintage stone floors are still in place and help to keep all of the rooms cool. Each room... More

The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly but not intrusive. The tubs were clean, and very deep. I loved my stay, and would go back the first chance I get. Connie was at the desk a lot of the time, and she had excellent dinner suggestions. It was also within walking distance of a lot of... More

This motel/spa has rooms in a number of buildings. I can only review the one in which I stayed. It appeared to be a motel which was built in the 1950's. The room I stayed in was called Pam3. It had two queen-size beds. It also had a kitchen, equiped with utensils for cooking and eating. The beds were comfortable... More

My cycling team meets here every February for a warm training weekend. The Pelican is always our place to stay! Clean, comfortable and affordable! Fun colors, fun atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. This year Asst. Manager, Connie, went above and beyond and rescued me from a blown bike tire 25 miles outside of town. We look forward to coming back,... More

the place is made up of three or four different close by buildings. All safe. Great colourful rooms clean, funky, tidy, spacious. Wifi worked great, Hot water baths lovely. Not much dealing with the staff as we stayed only one night, but all friendly and helpful. Great value for money. Sorry that we had to leave after only one night.

We have been staying here for the last decade, without a doubt the most reasonable and well appointed hotel in T or C. The proprietor has great taste in art, tons of it, furnishings are funky and eclectic, and the price allows for multiple days in this special place. In the last year or so we have noticed the pelican... More
