Overnight stay; had the Mandarin Suite in the Red Pelican building. Aside from the dark wall colors the room was quite large (double room, actually) and was well equipped with small refrig, coffee maker and microwave. Came with real silverware and glass cups, too, as well as wine stems. Huge courtyard services this group of rooms. The mineral spring baths were very clean, private, and relaxing, and the use of them is included in the room rate. The property is dated but quite trippy! Pets are allowed at an up charge I believe.

We booked THE LOFT and were aware of the kitschy decor of the resort and thought it would be fun to do something out of the norm. When we arrived we were surprised to see that this place was clustered around and the rooms were on both sides of the road. It looked like the owner bought up the old houses around his place and expanded his resort over time. The blocks were also named and priced differently. The Loft located in an Asian themed courtyard was huge and located beside an office and we could hear phones and voices during working hours. It was equipped with a full kitchen which included a stove, microwave, basic cooking utensils, fridge, mugs and plates with silverware that didn't match. This unit also has a nice living area, three comfy and spacious couches, and a large dining table that can be used for eating and doing work. The two queen beds could be improved with firmer mattresses and better pillows. The bathroom was fairly large but lacked storage space if not for the rustic metal table beside the sink. One just had to be aware of the heater which came on like a turbine in the middle of the night but was easily solved when we adjusted the thermostat. Overall, the room worked, but I would've liked it to be a bit cleaner as I did find dust bunnies throughout.

Not the Ritz but very comfortable. I stayed in the Pink Pelican building. There are many others. Great in town location. Reasonably quiet. If you don't like soft pillows bring your own. Good coffee in the room. I had a hard time connecting my tablet to the wi-fi. T1he heater was in a funny place, just above the bed, but it worked well. The spa is in another building but only across the street. I went at night and had to wait for a little while. Just a head's up-the tub is deep and could be difficult to get into. The check in guys were great! Friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Not the corner room if possible. It backs up to an alley.

Great place to stay! We love the eclectic decor and friendly, attentive staff. The hot tubs are the perfect escape for a long weekend. Our dogs loved it too. This is a nice alternative to the corporate hotel chains.

We rented the Aqua room for the night of January 3rd. The room was not impressive upon arrival. I have stayed at many facilities in the T or C area and this one is the worst! The first thing we did was soak in the hot spring. We were in there for approximately an hour and a half. Idily fluids on the bedsheets. I immediately called the emergency # to let them know what happened and that we were leaving and texted the pictures I took to Mark. He said someone would call me the next day. I never heard from anyone. I called the owner, Sid Brian, today and he only offered a 10% refund. He stated he was in the room prior to our arrival and it was fine. So that means he was in the bed, that was his hair and bodily fluids and he thinks it is ok for guests to sleep in a filthy bed. Not to mention if they aren't that concerened, good luck not catching COVID there!! I advised him I ws going to write a review and he said to do it. So here ya go! Stay at your own risk! Pictures attached. THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF NM HAS BEEN CONTACTED!
