We checked in and went to our room. Almost immediately we got a call from the front desk to come back down because there was a mix up. They had checked us into someone else's room. The original room seemed nice enough. But the new room was AWFUL. The pillows were flat and lumpy. There were brown stains on one... More

My family of 4 went on a last minute vacation two days before New Years. We arrived into town around 7pm and did not find availability anywhere in the area, and if there were, it was overpriced. Exhausted from a 17-hour car ride, we were fortunate to stumble upon this hotel, booking the last room they had for $89/night. The... More

Has and 'Old' feeling and needs a room-lift (ha) and better cleaning maid;, I found a wad of black hair under the counter in the bathroom! For $144.38 (incl tax) for 2 people i night it is WAY over priced.

This is a budget hotel, but beds are not comfortable and heater is old. Breakfast is worst than horrible. But is very cheap and clean. Good for short stays and just for sleeping. Small towels not enough blankets

Smoke filled room (supposed to be non-smoking) filled with bedbugs. When I stated this was unacceptable and we wanted a new room with NO bugs, front desk said that they were hard to detect and couldn't promise a bug free room since they have had issues with bedbugs. So, we left immediately. The bedbugs where full grown. Not that difficult... More

Heater sounded like someone was mowing the lawn inside the room. Breakfast was a depressing affair. No remote for tv and much apathy from the front desk as response. Seems like a crime for these owners to invest in their own hotel. Too bad as it reeks of total potential.

We chose Don Fernando because it is dog friendly. The grounds are fairly expansive with lots of grass. We found it clean and comfortable. We left early so we did not take advantage of the complementary breakfast. The exterior needs maintenance but that did not impact our stay. Staff on check in/out were friendly.

Have stayed here a few times over the past few years. This used to be a nice property. It has become continuously worse. This time the room was not clean. There was actually an empty soda bottle on the floor. The tub had dead bugs. Towels were taken and not replaced. The toilet had bad water stains. Pillows were old... More

Traveling through area, needed place to stay for night. Basic room. Friendly evening staff. Morning staff not so friendly. Charged extra fee for pet ($10). Suggest guest confirm charges and check bill before leaving. Was charged at higher rate than initially quoted.

We had stayed here before and thought it was good. I took my kids to stay the night and I woke up with itching and what I thought were hives. The next morning I found the bedbug in my bed engorged with my blood. I have bites all over my arms and it caused my lymph system under my arms... More
