I drove about 150 miles to go listen to some local music. I was looking for a non commercial place to stay and stumbled across this hotel. I loved it!! Not knowing what to expect I was delighted to find a very large room with vintage kitchenette and pink bathroom tile. It was adorable and made my trip even more... More

This was our second stay at the lodge. The first time we brought our dog. It's awesome that they are dog friendly! The owners were super friendly at both visits! Loved the fireplace in our room and the indoor hot tub was just what we needed after a day of snowboarding! Great place to stay in Taos! Will definitely be... More

Everything about this place is bad. From an air conditioner that kept going off and on to the greasy floor. The smell kept me up for hours and when I went to discuss it at the front desk was told "Well, you can leave anytime, this isn't jail." One more insult for the awful experience... They double charged my debit... More

After a couple of miserable nights at Sun God Lodge, my teenage boys and I switched to El Camino Lodge and loved it. It's not classy, quaint or romantic but it was perfect for our needs and a great value. Room 226 was perfectly clean and we had no issues with any item in the room. Great heater, TV, shower... More

We stayed here 3 nights for a family Ski Vacation at Taos Resort. The room was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep on two queen beds. The breakfast offerings very filling with plenty of refills and not running out of any food items. The front desk staff was warm, friendly and helpful. Could not find a better room price... More

Whoa, one word sums this place up. Nasty. Heater/AC didn't work manually (had to use a wrench), tv was snowy, nasty carpets. Could tell it was a lovely place at one time, and have stayed in worse, but move on to find another place. Decent size hot tub and pool, but that's about all I got.

Terrible experience. Nonsmoking room smelled like smoke. Cigarette burns in the chairs. Wasn't provided with soap. Had to ask for enough towels; when provided, they were dirty. I have NEVER written a negative review before but had to for this rundown monstrosity. Room was dirty. Part of a potato chip was in our "clean" bed. Friend's room was similarly bad... More

I stayed at the El Camino Lodge for an extended stay due to work. I really enjoyed my visit. The room was clean and had everything necessary. There is a heated indoor pool and hot tub that were great after a hard day of work. (I can't wait to soak after a day of skiing.)The staff were great. The new... More

When we arrived at the El Camino Lodge A.K.A Whitten INN, we were smacked in the face by the smell of smoke in our "smoke-free" room. We went back to the front desk and the manager/owner, a rude Indian, named David, gave me another room which also smelled of smoke. Disgusted my family and I asked for my money back... More
