I was Happy with stay. The Rooms were clean. Nice breakfast. Reasonably priced compared to other hotels in area. Nothing negative to say. If you run the fan you don't hear any other noise. It was quiet. Like Choice hotels. I would come back. Fact: You can't expect a very fancy hotel if prices are cheaper.

A friendly desk clerk greeted us promptly saying that there had been many recent upgrades at the property by new owners. Sounded good. When we got to our room, the let down started. The large old credenza from the 70s had a big cigarette burn right in the center of the piece. As we tried to settle in, we could... More

We've stayed here at least 3 times in the past 30 years. Breakfast used to be served rather than the new buffet style. Also you had a choice of breakfasts which included hot fried eggs. The restaurant-style breakfast seems to be a thing of the past. Shame as this one feature made this hotel rise above its competitors. The updated... More

We spend one night in this hotel. The rooms are alright, the beds are good, ask for a room facing the swimming pop and the lower floor,,otherwise you will have the cars in front of your room....the breakfast is ok and the people at the reception are friendly.

We were in town for a concert and stayed here August 6. We had no choice as most of the other accommodations were occupied to capacity. Online price advertised ranged from $99- $122 but when we checked into the last room available, the front desk quoted us for $353!!! She explained that the owner changed rates for the special event... More

Thank you for your review. I am glad that we were able to provide you with a room. We had been booked up since the beginning of July so there must have been a cancellation that opened up a room for you. Your statement that "Online price advertised ranged from $99 - $122" is misleading and deceptive. Every hotel in... More

Dirty dusty room. Gouged by price payed 311 per night. A concernt was in town. For that much the room should be clean. Air conditioned was dusty. So we could not use it Could not open the window. People smoking below us. Staff was nice. If traveling to Taos, expect bad service at all resturants. Be patient!. It seems to... More

Served us perfectly. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and we felt safe. Microwave, fridge, and coffee pot in room (though you might want to bring your own coffee if you're a snob). Didn't try breakfast, wanted to have a local experience.

This is the first one star review I've given, and I don't give it lightly. This was the fifth Choice Hotel in a row on a road trip... by far the worst. I'd pay $40 and not a penny more for this experience. Readers, take a moment to read the other reviews and you'll see a pattern. Note complaints about... More

I used my rewards points as hotels in this area seem pricey. Glad I didn't pay money for it. The bathroom was not clean, had hair in the shower and the fixtures were very old and outdated. We had no towels in our room. We called the front desk and they told us we could come down to get them.... More

This lodging was a disappointment, especially being a Choice Hotels property and the price rather high. It is huge with hundreds of rooms but hasn't kept up with remodeling. It is old and worn out. The front desk has a tiled top with one of the edging tiles held on with tape. My room doesn't have a single electrical outlet... More

Thank you for your review. I am very pleased to see that you enjoyed the vast number of amenities in the room along with the comfortable bed, pillows and the better than most breakfast. As for the price, if you actually compare it with other hotels in this town who offer the same amenities you will find that our price... More
