In a town that can be overly touristy, Old Taos Guesthouse exceeded our expectations, allowing us to enjoy the gorgeous setting and historic Spanish architecture. The inn is located a little off the beaten path, but no more than a 10-minute drive to the main drag, where there are restaurants and shops. The hosts were kind and served a delicious... More

I've been here a number of times over the years, and it just keeps getting better. It has almost a magical quality -- something out of a Southwestern fairy tale. No two rooms are alike; each one has its own special charm. If this was in a bigger city, the rooms would be $100 a night more. You won't be... More

This was a fantastic experience. My wife and I took a quick 'retreat' down to Taos from the city to enjoy some peace and quiet, see some sights, go on some hikes, and just be together. We brought our dog, who was a welcome guest at the Guesthouse (limited to a specific number of rooms for you folks who don't... More

Our family reunion in Taos was made even more special by filling the Old Taos Guesthouse. (We did make reservations a year ahead to be sure we would all be together) Bob and Kady were wonderful host and the Taos area had so many things to offer that 4 generations had a wonderful visit. Whether you are looking for a... More

From the minute we walked in to our last day we enjoyed everything this perfect guesthouse offered. Bob is an incredible host, he made us feel at home along with his family, whom were all welcoming, even Scout the sweetest dog arrived to greet us. . Bob had plenty of recommendations and took a genuine interest in us as guests.... More

We stayed her two nights as we explored Taos and the history of Mabel Dodge Luhan, historical mentor to the contemporary art scene. The bed was super, the furnishings nice and the carpet clean. I slept like a rock. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the deck each evening and breakfast was delicious. All the comforts of home in a... More

We were looking for a quiet, relaxing place in Taos and we found it! Old Taos Guesthouse is a charming, quiet bed and breakfast about 2 miles from the Plaza. The grounds are wonderful and peaceful. The fountain in the front yard is great and the patios in the back were perfect. Our room was adorable and we loved the... More

We stayed 2 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The breakfasts were quite good (quiche, fresh fruit, coffee cake, homemade granola just the first day) and the hosts are extremely attentive. There are apricot and apple trees onsite. Our room was nice.. I guess my one criticism would be that it was quite warm in the room. The room definitely... More

I booked a room here for my husbands birthday and couldnt have been happier. Located out side of the the exterior is old adobe while the interior was gracefully modernized. Our suit was beautiful, not your usualy southwestern muddy colore scheme but blues and reds. Theres a hot tub for those inclined and a fantastic library in the main building.... More
