A friend made the booking and I eagerly anticipated her choice. This proved to be a wise selection, a lovely hospitable place to stay from the first moment. The owner was away, and had left the guesthouse in the capable hands of a charming and efficient lady who came by early at 3pm to check us in. The guesthouse is...

Search no further, reserve a room...if you seek and relish an authentic, old Taos ambiance. The tranquil setting, old preserved architecture, and complementary decor make every view point a pleasure. All the above, the quiet-serene setting is only surpassed by the extraordinary hospitality of Bob and his wife, Katie. Breakfast is a home run and three of their recommended restaurants...

Stunning! This beautiful property is so well loved and cared for that you can't help but feel loved and well cared yourself for just by being here! You will feel so comfortable and blessed to rest here while you are visiting Taos. I sincerely hope I'll get to stay here again the next time I'm in Taos. The owners are...

We stayed in Taos for two nights and really enjoyed our time here. The Inn is not far from the square (walkable but the road is not conducive to that IMO), but the setting is very peaceful. We chose the Birdhouse Suite which is on the end of a row of rooms near the back parking. It is not really...

Great quiet location near Taos without being right in the traffic of town. The Innkeeper took great care of us without being too fussy, cooks a great breakfast. The vista from the property towards the Taos Gorge at sunset is spectacular. A charming, cozy spot to explore the area.

If I could give the Old Taos Guesthouse 10 stars I would. The rooms are rustic and beautiful allowing me to breathe the fresh air. It is close enough to the city center to visit shops and fantastic restaurants and far enough away to experience a quiet and beautiful scenery. The customer service was also spectacular and this weekend was...

In a town that can be overly touristy, Old Taos Guesthouse exceeded our expectations, allowing us to enjoy the gorgeous setting and historic Spanish architecture. The inn is located a little off the beaten path, but no more than a 10-minute drive to the main drag, where there are restaurants and shops. The hosts were kind and served a delicious...

I've been here a number of times over the years, and it just keeps getting better. It has almost a magical quality -- something out of a Southwestern fairy tale. No two rooms are alike; each one has its own special charm. If this was in a bigger city, the rooms would be $100 a night more. You won't be...

This was a fantastic experience. My wife and I took a quick 'retreat' down to Taos from the city to enjoy some peace and quiet, see some sights, go on some hikes, and just be together. We brought our dog, who was a welcome guest at the Guesthouse (limited to a specific number of rooms for you folks who don't...

Our family reunion in Taos was made even more special by filling the Old Taos Guesthouse. (We did make reservations a year ahead to be sure we would all be together) Bob and Kady were wonderful host and the Taos area had so many things to offer that 4 generations had a wonderful visit. Whether you are looking for a...
