Absolutely fantastic! Charming rooms with working fireplaces and wonderful breakfast. Delightful and peaceful location outside the busy center just a short walk to the plaza. Drinking coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening in the courtyard was great. Greeted and taken care of by the wonderful Zach. Overall, a great experience and felt like staying with family.

Property's Favorite Review
You cannot go wrong with this tasteful property with wonderful beds with top notch linens and pillows, stylish bathrooms, delicious breakfast with many choices, and the inn keeper Lauren's warmth and hospitality. The grounds must be a delight in summer. The property is not full service, so if you need other meals they will direct you to town, but town is close by with many choices. The history of this property makes it special as well. I hope to return!

We visited PDM for a couple of nights in August, for the first time. We were totally happy with our experience, so much so that we decided to book three more nights in September. We used this as our base to explore and hike in the area. We wondered if our second experience would measure up to the first. It did. The on-site management (Zach, and JJ and Sara) were wonderful hosts. We’ve been to Taos many times over the years. This may be the best B&B in town...it certainly is our favorite.

Let’s start with Zachary. Before arriving at Palacio de Marquesa I get a text from asking if it would be alright to text me. That is when one of the most pleasant dealings ever with a hotel started. Anything and everything you could think to ask or need to know is instant. So impressed with Zachary. The hotel is beautiful and super clean as well as the grounds. Big plus they welcomed my Poodle. You will not regret staying here.

We stayed here based upon reviews from others on Trip advisor. It was FABULOUS! we were greeted by text from Zach before we ever got there. It was so sweet and gracious. We got there and could not have received a warmer welcome. This is an 8 room hotel which was close to town (we walked, but tucked away, The room was huge and beautiful. Since it was our anniversary, they actually had a small bottle of white wine waiting for us as well as a lovely note. The breakfast the next morning was cooked by Zach and was delicious. We felt so special. Zach and Shaun were incredible. In my mind, there is simply no other place in Taos to stay. It simply does not get better than this!
