Palacio de Marquesa is 2 1/2 blocks from the historic center of town, Taos Plaza. Built on 7/10 of an acre with a high wall and seventeen large trees around the perimeter, it seems secluded and apart from the bustle of town, yet is close to all the historic sites, shops and restaurants.

Wonderful small B&B a bit more than half a mile from the Plaza. The beds are comfortable and the rooms spacious. The common room is beyond gorgeous; I spent most of my time there while at the hotel and not sleeping. What makes the place really special are the on-site staff.

Great question! We allow service dogs in the main house to comfort our guests. We have not run into issues with barking at night. I think because we give our pets treats and tons of love, they feel at home which may help control the barking.
