We were so happy we chose Palacio de Marquesa while in Taos. Just off the beaten path, we were well taken care of by friendly staff the whole time. Large, clean and gorgeous rooms await. Breakfast was delicious! You must visit their sister hotel a ten minute walk away which is a larger resort with a beautiful pool, spa and... More

Very stylish and nicely appointed. Spacious room and bathroom. Wonderful layout of rooms. Very good location and neighborhood. The staff who were present in the mornings for breakfast service, etc. were excellent. We had not paid attention in advance to the fact that there is no air conditioning -- and we were here in the heat of summer. Spotty/glitchy wifi... More

Thank you for your review. Yes, July was exceptionally hot this summer which made the rooms warmer then usual. We do have extra fans in every room. The wifi system is spotty in certain areas of the property due to the thick adobe walls from the 1920's. We have worked this month with our IT team to identify areas where... More

This B&B has all of the comforts and necessary amenities of the nearby sister hotel without unnecessary frills or expense. The room was beautiful - even luxurious - and as advertised on Booking.com. Breakfast, ordered each day for the next day, was excellent. Met lovely people each morning in the serene dining room of the main house. Exercise room and... More

This place is amazing - very eclectic, private room with high end details, wonderful service. Delicious breakfast made to order every morning. Our favorite NM hotel by far. An absolute must stay if you plan on visiting the area. We were very impressed and plan to return as soon as we can!

The Palacio de Marquesa is located on a quiet avenue with giant cottonwood trees and beautiful gardens. The staff was efficient, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were airy, had lots of closet and drawer space. The bed was very comfortable with crisp white sheets. The breakfasts were on time and very tasty. Highly recommend it!

This is a warm and welcoming place to stay and relax as you visit the enchanting town of Taos. From the detailed description upon check-in on what to do around town and what this beautiful hotel offers to the delicious breakfast in the morning, Palacio de Marquesa is top-notch. Easy to find off main highway. Friendly staff. Keep in mind (1) no air conditioning. (2) one-day advance, pre-designated time for complimentary breakfast. (3) If staying more than one day and you leave early, one-day penalty for early departure. For some guests, these issues may be important. Rooms are charming. Particular room we stayed had no desk work area. Internet... More

We wanted to escape Albuquerque during the current hot weather, so an over-night visit to Taos was the answer. The room is gorgeous with high, beamed ceilings, a marble bathroom with a huge shower, and luxurious Italian linens on the bed. The only down side is the lack of air conditioning, but the thick adobe walls help keep the heat... More

Only 8 rooms, all renovated w large modern bathrooms, fine linens and towels, wonderful beds. Best of all are the 2 courtyards. We spent one night at Palacio de Marquesa. It is a magical oasis in Taos. Consisting of 6 or 8 rooms each named after an important artist or patron of the arts in Taos. We stayed in the Icon room named after Georgia O'Keeffe. A simple elegant room with a half refrig and a beautiful marble bathroom. We had breakfast... More
