I stayed on Sept 23, 2020 for just one night, as I’m just passing by on a road trip, but I wish I would have stayed here a little longer. Zachary, the resident manager, was who took care of my stay. He was super nice and very helpful. The room was really clean, nice, cute and very comfortable, with lots of nice little details. Zachary brought me a delicious breakfast in the morning in a cute basket, all prepared just the way I had requested it! Overall the place is a real gem! I felt pampered here!! This is an old mansion converted into an Inn with just 8 rooms, each one different, The location is a little hidden, with lots of trees and outside walls, so just follow your GPS, and just when you think you are lost you have arrived! The WiFi and TV worked great. I will definitely stay here again, as I will be coming back post-COVID, to see Zachary and to really enjoy all Taos has to offer!!

Property's Favorite Review
You cannot go wrong with this tasteful property with wonderful beds with top notch linens and pillows, stylish bathrooms, delicious breakfast with many choices, and the inn keeper Lauren's warmth and hospitality. The grounds must be a delight in summer. The property is not full service, so if you need other meals they will direct you to town, but town is close by with many choices. The history of this property makes it special as well. I hope to return!

We were very pleased to stay 1 night at La Marquesa...had a choice of a couple of places but decided on this one. We were not disappointed! I think I enjoyed it more this time than when we stayed here about 10 years ago. Loved our room choice and the fabulous breakfast. It was so quiet and peaceful and clean. And thanks to Zachary for making us feel extremely welcome.

Absolutely fantastic! Charming rooms with working fireplaces and wonderful breakfast. Delightful and peaceful location outside the busy center just a short walk to the plaza. Drinking coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening in the courtyard was great. Greeted and taken care of by the wonderful Zach. Overall, a great experience and felt like staying with family.

We visited PDM for a couple of nights in August, for the first time. We were totally happy with our experience, so much so that we decided to book three more nights in September. We used this as our base to explore and hike in the area. We wondered if our second experience would measure up to the first. It did. The on-site management (Zach, and JJ and Sara) were wonderful hosts. We’ve been to Taos many times over the years. This may be the best B&B in town...it certainly is our favorite.
