Rooms are very uniquely decorated. Fireplace adds to the overall romantic flair of the room. Elderly should ask for rooms closest to lobby. Mountain side 400 Building is closest of the Mountain side. 600 is furthest. Energy efficient lighting makes for dimly lite room. Free shuttle service can take you and pick you up as you venture out to town...

We wanted to explore the Tao's area so we traveled 700 miles/11hrs to get there and researched a lot of resorts before deciding on El Monte Sagrado. We booked a Casita Suite for a long 4 day weekend for its quiet location and supposed quality. Everything and everyone was very nice and good until we got to our Casita suite....

Good morning Skiers7702, Once again, please let me apologize for the issues you had during your stay. As I said when I met with you, everything you reported was a genuine issue that we should have picked up on and you shouldn't have had to deal with them. I'm sorry that the casita we moved you to had issues that...

This might have been a 4* resort at one time but that doesn't appear to be the case any longer. We had a weekend of maintenance issues, cleanliness issues, and overall satisfaction with the experience. The spa was amazing with terrific services but doesn't make up for the lack luster state of the grounds/suits.

Omar Adome and Mark Carrol made everything extraordinarily easy with their kindness and efficiency. We all loved the beautiful scenery. My 3 year old especially loved the gigantic...

My family wanted to meet up somewhere in between (half in Albuquerque, half in Denver). We stayed at El Monte Sagrado and it was the best weekend trip I think I've ever had. Every staff member I spoke to was friendly and accomodating. Omar Adome and Mark Carrol stood out at the front desk, they were super helpful and great....

Wanted to spend 3 days exploring Taos and chose this property. We weren't disappointed except for the rain which the hotel could not be responsible for. Rooms were great. Service was great!
