Stayed here for only one night (sadly) with my sister and niece. We got to Taos around 11:30 and decided to swing by the hotel to see if our room might be ready. We were greeted by a super friendly valet who checked for us and sure enough we could check in early! I had booked a one bedroom suite...

I can't say enough about the beauty quiet and peace of this spa hotel. The rooms are generously proportioned and beautifully appointed. Best nights sleep in years. Spa and pools are wonderful, staff efficient and friendly. Everything seems very private, and yet if you need something someone else there immediately. The food is terrific in both the bar and Grill...

My Valentine weekend at El Monte Sagrado could not be more perfect. I am in the Hotel business so my expectations are pretty high. All were exceeded. From my initial communication arrangements with the DOS, Lynn Skall, to check in with Matt Troche who escorted us to our room and explained the grounds, to a wonderful and beyond relaxing massage...

Our trip to the Northeast area of the state of New Mexico brought us to this contemporary elegant Hotel. The New Mexico style is influential with an upscale charm to it. The room exterior is a Wooden Southwest feeling but the interior of the hotel is upscale elegance. The main dinning room has covered backs and seats with chandeliers above. Amenities...

OK, first the hotel is amazing, comfortable, clean, great ammenities. What really made the stay one of the best stays in recent memory was the service. A special call out to LEO! Leo did a great job at helping us out during our stay. He was always friendly and by the second day, he knew all of our names. Pretty...

We booked a group of rooms and although there were some glitches (mostly due to the guests not the hotel), they were resolved very quickly. A special word of thanks to Matt T. and Paloma who handled our VIP party upstairs in the library.

We have stayed at this hotel before and its style and dependable service always make us want to come back again. This time we stayed in the Argentina room with a couple of friends from Italy who are in the hotel business there. They were absolutely blown away by the elegant decor and the distinct New Mexico flair. The furnishings...

What a beautiful weekend El Monte Sagrado provides! The staff is attentive, the location secluded, artistic, luxurious and perfect and the restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner is wonderful. I love the fireplace, the sound of the rushing stream and the quiet calm. We try to stay here every time we visit Taos.

My husband and I went to New Mexico for a quick romantic getaway. We originally went to Santa Fe where the area and hotel were disappointing. We decided to change our plans last minute to take a chance on Taos instead of going home. I booked the El Monte last minute because I had a good feeling about it. Boy,...
