My boyfriend and I loved this hotel. I was able to take my puppy and everyone was so friendly. The place was immaculate and our little Casita was quaint and very comfortable! Modern interior and an outdoor space in the back of the Casita to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine.

We were looking for a peaceful and restful spot for the last portion of this trip. El Monte Sagrado fulfilled this and more. Our room was on the second floor, with a roofed deck. It also had two comfortable chairs and a small table, which was nice for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. Our room was comfortable, with a gas... More

Teen and I took a day off from traveling through Colorado and New Mexico to spend a day here. Unfortunately we could only stay one day here since they (like every other hotel) were booked the next night. While we couldn't afford the spa services, they looked like they would have been fun to try. Instead we spent the afternoon... More

Came to Taos after a hectic weekend of power shopping & opera in Santa Fe with friends. Within an hour of checking in, an overwhelming feeling of relaxation descended upon me-i melted into El Monte Sagrado. The hot tub was sublime-too bad the beautiful indoor pool was not heated. Enjoyed the indoor conservatory of plants. The rambling paths to the... More

We were only able to spend one night at this magnificent hotel but it was the best night of our holiday. We stayed in the Moroccan Global Suite which was beautiful and the private outdoor hot tub was a highlight. The service and hospitality was impeccable. Libby on the front desk welcomed us warmly and was extremely helpful and friendly.... More

We spent two nights in one of the Native American suites. We were celebrating my birthday and it was so beautiful and peaceful! Our balcony overlooked the waterfall and Lily pad pond, truly magical. I can't say enough about Matt and Samantha, they are the most accommodating, personable, and wonderful people I've ever met in the hotel business! We are... More

During my trip to Santa Fe, I had the pleasure of visiting Taos Mountain Gallery and Gift Shop inside the El Monte Sagrado. The gallery is owned and operated by Dawn Mirabal, a native american woman of the Taos Pueblo. The gallery and Dawn are absolutely fantastic. Dawn was able to give us so much information about not only the... More

Yes, the property is beautiful. if you have come because of the landscaping, and that is all you care about, then, my friend, you will be satisfied. But, in the global village where our room was the air conditioning is swamp cooling. Had I known this when our friends booked the room, I would never have accepted. It sounded like... More

I wish we'd had more time at El Monte Sagrado, and I'll definitely be back. I took my mother here for a short weekend getaway and was blown away by how lovely everyone was to us. The room (Argentina suite) was absolutely amazing and so luxurious. The room itself was in a peaceful location with a fountain out front and... More

Amazing! Bed reiki massage I have ever had by Rebecca! Simply unbelievable! Then I had a pedi and mani with Monique! Was truly the best I had ever received! Very detailed oriented. Didn't try to rush me off and was very friendly! I'm sad this spa is far from Kansas!
