Amazing room, staff, services, & great location!! We already booked our next stay here in April when we return for spring skiing. I would say this is a perfect location whether you are looking to stay to explore Taos and/or to hit the slopes.

We flew into Albuquerque and took a little road trip. We made reservations a month before we left because we wanted to spend one night in Taos. The place was awesome. The accommodations were great. Our room had a gas fireplace which made it real cozy. We ate at the resort and the food was excellent. We didn’t use it but they have a shuttle service that will take you to downtown which is nice. They have a lot of other amenities that we didn’t use because of our short stay. We’re thinking of bringing our granddaughters next time. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay and will likely return for more nights. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful. The entire staff has a teamwork attitude and really appears happy to work there. They pass that family feeling to the guests. Thank you for a great stay!

Staycation with my wife, from Albuquerque we wanted a get away. Very amazing location and the Taos Mountains room was amazing . The food was great the breakfast we had and staff very nice, close to shopping areas and jewelry shops

We loved our visit! Everyone was very nice and happy to help. The rooms are very nice. The whole atmosphere is very relaxing. It was perfect for our anniversary getaway. They even game us complimentary champagne and chocolate covered strawberries.

Well maintained property and very friendly staff. The Valet and the shuttle bus were great. The package deal is definitely worth it, breakfast was included and delicious. Overall very good, clean hotel.

Ive been to Taos twice, you have awakened us to a side of the town we haven't experienced . We've never felt fancier! Beautiful landscaping, gorgeous room, friendliest staff (most importantly), stunning architecture, especially the entrance near reception, and the chauffeur service was both unexpected and perfect for our delicious night out at The Love Apple. You have an amazing team that keeps the hotel functioning as a 4 star resort. We will be coming back as well as recommending El Monte Sagrado to everyone we know. Thank you for being so attentive to our requests and upholding such a beautifully high standard for our stay away from home. It wont be forgotten.

First off, the property is beautiful. The decor is rustic and charming. But there were a lot of problems that affected our stay. First the room we were first put in was not clean (bathtub with hair and other gross things from the prior visitors). The room across from us also had dogs barking incessantly. We asked for another room and were given a clean, quiet room that was much more relaxing (and which would allow us to actually sleep). The second room still had problems. The bathtub had a faucet that was very inadequate for the bathtub. We tried to fill the tub but it would literally have taken hours. The big tub was one of the reasons we booked in the first place. Also the rooms were showing a bit of wear and tear and need some refurbishment. This hotel was probably much better years ago and could have been really great. But based on everything we encountered I can't give it better than 3 stars.…

This resort is a dream come true. The staff are kind and friendly, and I delighted in the curves, lines, and colors of the architecture and decor. The concrete floors were even heated in our global suite! The food is delicious, and the salt water pool was delightful. The spa is also beautiful and calming. Overall, a must for all to experience!
