Taos Inn sets the perfect atmosphere for staying in Taos. I stayed in a room around a garden with bench snd sculpture. Staff all very responsive. The location couldn’t have been better. The price was right. Well behaved dogs are welcome. I’m coming back again soon!

Didn't want to stay in just any hotel when I booked my son's ski lesson trip to Taos. I wanted to stay some where that had some history to it. The Historic Taos inn was great. People were friendly, the food was good, and the room was very neat.

We had a wonderful stay! All of the staff were kind and welcoming. Our room was very small (wish I had known to ask for something larger) but the bed was extremely comfortable, the fireplace was a treat, and it was a nice, quiet room in the courtyard. The shower was roomy and hot water plentiful. We were lucky Doc Martin's was open our first night and they even sent the food to our room. It's great pets are allowed, so our elderly dog could be there with us. The location is great and the hotel has a lot of character. We've stayed there off and on for years. I thought about difficulties people with limited mobility might face, especially in winter. Footing was tricky in places and we were thankful for the warning signs, salt, and sand. We appreciated the COVID protocols in place (careful cleaning of spaces, social distancing recommended, masking required in public which was observed by all staff members except one seen briefly). Other guests were courteous and followed the guidelines. The texting concierge was a great feature, with quick replies to every question. Thank you!

Perfect pick, great people despite the "pandemic" restrictions. Great cozy feel to the room, heater in bathroom and good water pressure made showering perfect, Although a bit small, very comfortable. Court yard and access walks added to the ambiance. Food at Doc Watson's was excellent. Next time it will be room 309!!

I left my purse at the hotel, and they found it and returned it, but with $60.00 missing. I can't get them to reply. I rated the service "terrible" for this. The place was nice, but the rooms don't have fridges or microwaves, so what to do with restaurant leftovers?
