Taos Inn has great location within easy walk of town square, galleries and restaurants. Room was well appointed (though no modern amenities, such as fridge, coffee maker, etc.) That was more that compensated for by classy décor and courtyard in front of room that allowed us breathing room. We slept with door open to take in the NM nighttime air,... More

HOTEL’S FAVORITE REVIEW
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2016

The Taos Inn is truly magical, and not to be missed. Steeped in history, with no-charge live entertainment in the lobby, working pueblo-style fireplaces in some rooms, some of the best food I've ever eaten in the in-house restaurant, central location for exploring Taos on foot, and friendly, capable staff, it is unique and delightful, especially in winter. While it... More

Our king room was huge, with a kiva fireplace and sitting area, and opening onto a pleasant garden. The inn is right at the intersection with Bent Street, so is steps away from great restaurants and shops. Our room was at the back and was extremely quiet. Parking is free and historic sites are an easy drive away. Be aware... More

Water leak in the building next door. Woke up to no water. While we understand that things break, front desk handled this situation poorly. They continually tried to avoid any responsibility by saying the lack of water was not their fault (after wading through the water flowing out of the room next door). We discussed other options to shower and... More

This was our second time to stay there! Location was great and restaurant was ok. The a/c worked great! The Internet was poor! The live music at night was nice so you can have a drink or two and not have to drive! We would stay there again!

This is without doubt the best located hotel in Taos as far as location -- access to plaza within a couple of blocks, restaurants, shopping, museum, etc. It is indeed a charming property to look at, but if you get the wrong room, your visit could be ruined. We were given a room right over the lobby bar (there is... More

We were on a friends trip and chose this Inn based on TAdvisor and the location. We were very pleased. Hotel and bar staff were exceptional , very pleasant and helpful. Food I give an 8. Staff and bar a 10. Will definitely go back. The hotel is old but well maintained. Beats the devil out of all the same... More

Went to the Inn for dinner and drinks with a friend. Poor service, overpriced and subpar food. We waited approximately forty five minutes after we ordered our food and were both disappointed. The house made nachos were soft and the the toppings seemed like they came out of a can. One bright note was the blue corn chili relleno was... More

We stayed in a suite for 2 nights. Mind you this is written by the son that tagged along(13). I was unsure at first of the place but once we went into the lobby we were greeted with live music. It was very lively and a good atmosphere. Of course I was "stuck" sleeping on the pullout bed, but it... More

I get this is a historic place, but I was a little disappointed in our room. Bathroom toilet almost came off the wall when you sat down, shower tile falling out/chipped/bottom layer missing and floors really uneven. Toiletries very, very basic. Bed was not comfortable at all. We paid over 200 for one night. Room 202 in Sandoval House. Parking... More
