The air conditioning vent was right over the bed and one evening it rained and water dripped on me in the middle of the night. I had to put down towels and in the morning a wastebasket. I informed the desk and I was told maintenance would look at it. We came back four or five hours later and I... More

HOTEL’S FAVORITE REVIEW
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2016

The Taos Inn is truly magical, and not to be missed. Steeped in history, with no-charge live entertainment in the lobby, working pueblo-style fireplaces in some rooms, some of the best food I've ever eaten in the in-house restaurant, central location for exploring Taos on foot, and friendly, capable staff, it is unique and delightful, especially in winter. While it... More

We stayed at the Inn for one night - wish we could have stayed more. Julie and the rest of the staff were friendly and very helpful. We had a spacious room on the courtyard. Loved the personal feel. Highly recommend.

This historic hotel is conveniently located just across from the Plaza. Many of the rooms are located in adobe buildings apart from the main house which would make each experience different. We were in the Helen house. It was very cozy and comfortable with a fireplace. There was a little courtyard with a table and chairs just outside our room.... More

When I see "Historic" I think "small & expensive". This was no exception. The Inn and the grounds are beautiful and well kept up, but the room we had was very small. There was only 6 inches on either side of the bed to get in and out, and there was no place to hang clothes. The dressers were too... More

We stayed here for two nights in Room 311, a small corner room with a queen bed. The room was away from the bar and restaurant, so it was quiet. Room was small but charming, and was a short walk from the Plaza and the Kit Carson Museum. The shower had beautiful tile and a convenient niche to hold soap... More

Stayed several places in Taos over the past 30 years. This was the best - Nice Inn, within a couple blocks of the historic plaza. Friendly hosts at desk, bar and restaurant. Very lively late afternoon with locals and guests listening to great live music. Had to ask for a stronger Margarita, though, which was just right. Bathrooms in 215... More

Just got back from a long weekend stay & enjoyed our stay very much. We stayed in the largest room/suite offered & it is right off the main room of the building. The little gardens the other rooms had access to were charming, we even brought our own lunch & had a picnic in one of the garden sites with... More

It was an nice hotel, but lacking in many amenities: morning coffee and ice available only in the lobby; no breakfast, only brunch on Sat and Sun; rooms were small, could view TV with one chair, other person sitting on the bed; 4 hangers and now drawers, only place for clothes was in the suitcase; no laundry; no fitness center.... Stayed at the historic Taos Inn during the later days of August. Taos is a quaint small town with Art galleries and some New Mexican History spread around it. As much fund as walking around the town was, one of the best parts of the day was unwinding at the main room of the Inn listening to Blue Grass Music.... More
