We were very pleased with the El Pueblo Lodge. The rooms were clean an very spacious. There were plenty of places to relax outdoors. The breakfast was included and it was delicious. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The location was perfect if you wanted to walk a little way to the town square. Even though it was on... More

This is an older motel that is conveniently located within walking distance of the downtown plaza. They have breakfasts that include several hot items and a large number of other items. Our only complaint was that we heard a number of noises in the night that at first sounded like someone was trying to break into our room. We reported... More

This place has a lot to offer. It has local charm and a very extensive breakfast buffet. The green chili is fantastic. The staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful. This was our second time staying here and we plan to return every year. Good location, too.

I first stayed at El Pueblo Inn in September 2007. This was a spur of the moment trip and had a wonderful stay. Flash forward to July 2016 and remembering my previous stay, we came here and thankfully there was a vacancy. We stayed toward the back of the hotel which was quiet and serene. The room was on the... Nice, simple accommodations and friendly staff in Taos. We really enjoyed the feel of the property, including eating the complimentary breakfast out on the back patio area. Would consider staying again next time we are in town.

This is an unusual place, where you can tell that its beginnings were a simple roadside motel. The updated and renovated exterior to adobe pueblo style pretty much masked that fact, but not quite. The room's decor was quite nice, and we enjoyed our (red!) kiva fireplace both nights. The walk to the Old Town area was probably just under... More

Taos, New Mexico is fascinating - natural beauty, a feeling of spirituality, wonderful (and accessible) art and friendly people. Worth a visit. And if you do stop there, make El Pueblo Lodge your place to stay. It may not appear to be much, but the reality is so much different. It's as good as any hotel we've stayed at, and... More

My husband & I stopped here for a one night stay. Reminded us of motels from our childhood travel days. Nice people, nicely maintained , good basic motel located on the main drag. Hearty breakfast options. Parking just outside your room. They still use real keys!

This motel was such a surprise. It has the looks of old Taos, but don't let that fool you. It is very nice and the rooms are updated with new southwest style furniture, Mexican tiles, comfortable beds, etc. We were in an upstairs room that had a screen door that led out to the balcony. We enjoyed a pleasant evening... More

We stayed there for two nights in June, 2016. Everyone was very friendly. When were walked upstairs to our room we were apprehensive because the sidewalks and stairs were very dirty, definitely needed a good power wash. The room itself was a pleasant surprise, very roomy and clean. My husband wanted to swim but the pool was full of kids... More

Thank you for your review. I am happy that you found your room to be roomy and clean. Apologies for our lapse in maintenance, the issue of the sidewalk and stairs was addressed immediately. The 3 kids in the pool was from a birthday party from paying guests staying at the hotel, sorry this kept your husband from enjoying some... More
