We have been going to Casa Europa for at least 10 years, usually in the spring and fall. It is our special go-to "home" in Taos for our Anniversary every October. Joe & Lisa always treat us like friends - always remembering what we were doing the last time we were there and anxious to catch up on what is...

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Lisa, one of the owners. She immediately made us feel welcome and wished to assist us however possible. She suggested activities and restaurants. Our room was very beautiful and the maid service was exceptional. The next morning we were treated to a gourmet breakfast cooked by Lisa and served by her...

Having read the excellent reviews of Casa Europa and expecting a demand for accommodations during the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, we put in a reservation in January, 2013 for 3 nights in October. Even though we were 9 months out, co-owner Joe called us back to acknowledge our request. Our stay reflected that careful attention to details. Our casita and the...

We loved our stay at Casa Europa, but are not aware of the "Gallery" referred to in this listing. Anyway, we stayed for 5 nights in the Southwest Room which is a large suite on the second floor. The things that we loved were: 1) Comfortable accommodations, including a king-size bed and stand-alone fireplace in the room with plenty of...

My wife and I were greeted by Joe who immediately took the time to make us feel at home. He gave us great restaurant recommendations as well. We stayed in the Taos Mountain room which was upstairs....very quiet, comfortable, impeccably clean with a nice separate balcony overlooking a lovely garden. Joe and Lisa's breakfasts (and Lisa's daily afternoon dessert!) were...

We had chosen this B&B for our 4 night stay in Taos and were not disappointed. On arrival we were met by our lovely host Joe who showed us round the inn. What a super place; the public lounges, one upstairs & one down were large, comfortable and relaxing. There were books, games, magazines etc for visitors to enjoy and...

My husband had planned a romantic anniversary getaway for us to Taos and had chosen the Casa Europa (though we had never been there). He had worked with Lisa (host) on the phone, who had been quite helpful and nice. Upon arrival in New Mexico, my husband called the host (Joe) and let him know that we would be spending...

“We stayed in the Willow room and loved it. It was the summer, Joe told us to open the windows at night to let the cool air in and close them during the day. This worked well and we were always comfortable. That little nook in the corner is a great place to stretch out and read a book!”

“We have stayed in three different rooms - the Taos Mountain Room has its own balcony and great view, the Willow Room is very private and quiet, while the French Room has a cozier feel. We would recommend any of the three.”
