Marlene is wonderful, and she is the perfect hostess at this B&B with clean, cute rooms a bit of the beaten track on the west side of El Paso. There are walking paths, a nice courtyard with a fountain, and an east facing patio with unbelievable views of the city.
Thanks to Marlene for being so kind and accommodating to us. We’d traveled close to 2,000 miles in a few days and realized it was best if we stayed closer to town with our dog. Marlene was so sweet and understanding. Hope we can come back again when it’s just the two of us.
Our department has held a working retreat at Marlene's every January for several years. She is a wonderful hostess - providing tasty breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and a comfortable working space. It is great way to be away from our offices, but still get our work done. With the views of the Franklin Mountains and the opportunity to take walking breaks in the desert, it is truly a place for a RETREAT - not just an all-day meeting. Highly recommend her space for other groups. The sleeping accommodations are also very comfy - many of us have also stayed there overnight over the years. Thank you Marlene!!! We truly appreciate you!!!
A most comfortable and pleasant B & B. Beautiful view from the back patio. Peaceful desert surroundings-great for a morning walk. Marlene is a gracious host and a wealth of local information. Delicious breakfasts.
This was our second stay at Casa de Suenos Country Inn. We love the location, the authenticity of the accommodations and the hospitality from Marlene. Those views! Wow. Nestled in the foothills of the Franklin Mountain from the west side of El Paso, in New Mexico with additional views to the northern mountains of Mexico from the patio on the back porch and such a short day trip to La Mesilla, Las Cruces and White Sands. It is a beautiful place to wake up each morning and be greeted by Marlene with a fresh cup of coffee and wonderful breakfast. This is such a welcoming place. We just had to stay here again as we explored the area for a second time. All the comforts of home. We drove to Mesilla and Las Cruces to explore the history of the area, including Billy the Kid. Wonderful views all around the Organ Mountains of Las Cruces and then came back at the end of each day to relax at Casa de Suenos and be greeted by the ever smiling Marlene. Had a wonderful dinner at Victoria's just ten minutes away. That was a New Mexico dinner supreme. Just have never had such great Mexican cuisine as we have had in New Mexico. We didn't get to eat this time at Chopes Cafe in La Mesa like we did on our last visit, but that is a wonderful place to experience the great flavors of authentic Mexican cuisine as well, a short drive north of Anthony, where Casa de Suenos is located. We love this place and the feeling that we live in New Mexico for those few days we stayed on this trip. It's great and we will be back again. Highly recommend! Get that special feeling . .. living like a local.…
