My husband and I spent 33 nights in the Orchard House on the beautiful Sentinel Ranch. The house was spacious with living room large windows looking out to a deep green pasture with hundred year old Cottonwood trees along a river and behind that beautiful mountains. This adorable house is totally private. In the pasture are lovely cows who had... More

The staff was great. Also enjoyed meeting Michael. I would recommend this to anyone that would like a very restful experience. We are staying a month, it is going by to fast. The cows are great and they allow you to get close and see them eating the grass. They also where watering (flooding) the pasture in front of our... More

The gallery/artists are very nice. However, the stars-of-this show are the Guest-homes. All are quaint, well done, un-hotel like, beautifully appointed in simple, casually eloquent manner ... &, VERY comfortable. The fireplaces work - & the use real wood. Their locations are terrific. Activities??? Walks, hikes, by-the-fireplace reading/relaxing/wine/??? ... Doesn't matter ... Pure R&R to-the-max. Our favorite cottage is directly... More

What makes finding this gallery so nice is that it is somewhere you would never think it would be. San Patricio is a small community in central New Mexico, but there's not much going on here. Nonetheless, we found things to do, including a short visit to the Gallery (we did not stay here). It was lovely seeing some of... More

We visited the Gallery only as we traveled Highway 70. Learned about the Gallery at the Visitors Center in Ruidoso Downs. We have long loved the work of the Wyeth family and here was another member Henriette Wyeth-Hurd daugher of NC Wyeth. She married famous artist Peter Hurd. Peter's work is seen in many places in New Mexico. Their son... More

My daughters and I come back every year for Christmas. We love the location and always have a relaxing and great time. The houses are gorgeous and comfortable. The San Patricio area is so scenic and the houses and gallery are nestled in the picturesque mountains of southern New Mexico.

Stayed at the Las Milpas house with my family. We stayed in late November, and it was very cozy with 4 firplaces already prepped for a fire when we arrived. Plenty of space, and a well equipped kitchen. The staff were very helpful, and had a plumber out right away to investigate a problem. The location is very peaceful, tucked... More

This was our second stay at La Rinconada and we just didn't believe it could be as great as the first....but if anything it was BETTER!!!! We've stayed in the Apple House both times and it is just the most beautiful little cottage! Yes, Hurds and Wyeths and photos of the area....and OH WHAT AN AREA!! We woke up every... More

We have stayed several times and use the quite surrounding as a vacation within a vacation. Michael and Tiffany do a teriffic job of making us feel special and welcome. The Orchard House has a panoramic view of an old orchard and the Hondo Valley. The place is rustic with many paintings, clean, and a welcome relief from the typical... More

After managing to regain composure for the hillarious wit of owner Michael Hurd, we were shown our casita which was BEUATIFUL Appointed in fine antiques with art from the Hurds, a Wyeth or two etc - you get the idea. A night at the museum? Ah, but there's a brook tumbling across stones outside. It's fresh. Lilacs blooming. This was... More
