We spent two quiet nights in this lovely bed and breakfast. Very spacious, well furnished and beautiful! Linda was very responsive to the reservation requests and returning calls. She had some great tips for other places to visit and what to order in the two restaurants in San Antonio, NM. The desert sunsets were spectacular!

The Fite Ranch B&B was the perfect place from which to visit Bosque del Apache. Linda was very gracious; the rooms were spotless; the kitchen was stocked with more than enough breakfast, and all the utensils we needed for cooking our own evening meals. We have recommended it to friends, and plan to return in the winter.

This was a wonderful find for us. The ranch is simply beautiful, located in the high desert with beautiful sunset views. Our suite was clean and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the old family ranch photos and drawings. Since we were attending the Festival of the Cranes at the Bosque del Apache, we also appreciated the fact that Linda had... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fite Ranch. Linda was most helpful and easy to work with. While there we went to the Trinity Site Open House, the VLA Open House, and both restaurants in San Antonio. We didn't even get to the Bosque del Apache, though we understand the cranes hadn't yet arrived, so we didn't miss a... More

Linda was wonderful working out my reservation. Though a little off the beaten path, a real plus for me, Fite Ranch is worth it. Beautiful suite, quiet, a definite coffee on the porch place. Morning walk was a joy with lots of new desert to see.

Hosts were extremely nice people and the place was very welcoming, clean and homey. Only issues we had were the lack of a window covering on the bedroom window when the air conditioner was in use (couldn't close the curtains because the air conditioner sucked them up tight, right onto the unit) so the curtains had to be left open... We booked a stay at Fite Ranch while visiting Bosque del Apache NWR. As it turned out the time spent at Fite Ranch was every bit as rewarding as our birding on the Bosque. We were accommodated in the Cody Riddle room, the smallest of the four lodgings. However, all four of the "rooms" at Fite Ranch are suites, and... More

A large living room, 2 bedrooms, full kitchen and a large bathroom are featured in the Evelyn Suite at Fite Ranch B&B. The shower is huge, the water hot and gentle and the towels soft. The refrigerator was supplied with milk, orange juice, cranberry juice, cereal and apples. There were blueberry muffins and bananas on the counter – no need... More

We stayed for two nights, primarily for a Trinity Site open house, and were extremely pleased; the Proprietor is quite knowledgable of the area. The apartment-like individual quarters are exceptionally clean, near instant hot water, individual heat and self-serve breakfast (fresh fruit, orange juice, milk, coffee, teas, cereal and fresh muffins) provided. It's set up like a series of four... More

My wife and I stayed at Fite Ranch for a long weekend to observe the Sand Hill Crane migration at the Basque del Apache National Wildlife Preserve. Whatever purpose brings you to southern New Mexico, you would find no more wonderful accommodation than Fite Ranch. The "casita" is very comfortable with a bedroom and bath, living room, and kitchen/dining area.... More
