When you're going on safari, the most important item is game viewing and Mosetlha delivered thanks to outstanding guiding by Johnnie. We found six of the magnificent seven (missed the leopard) on four game drives. Then, the camp experience. Great food, conversation, and overall experience... Especially the donkey boiler to take a shower. What a great way to spend a... More

I looked forward to my return to Mosetlha bush Camp with anticipation, as well as a slight bit of apprehension -- too many times, second visits to spots you loved the first time around can wind up disappointing. That said, my second visit exceeded my expectations, by far. Simply stated, Mosetlha is a GEM of a bush camp! This is... More

The Madikwe Game Reserve and the Mosetlha Bush Camp & Eco Lodge within the reserve are very very special places. The reserve itself is a magnificent 75,000 hectares situated on the Botswana border not all that far from Gaberone. The entirety of the reserve, however, is within South Africa (specifically the North West Province), about 90 kilometres roughly north of... More

Mosetlha is a great lodge for getting an intimate and raw bush experience. The lodge is unfenced ( apart from a line of electric fence high up to keep elephants out). The facilities are basic but easy to use, comfortable and serve their purpose. If you visit during winter be sure to take plenty of warm clothes. The lighting creates... More

I recently visited Mosetlha with my 2 boys (9 &11) and quite honestly I was apprehensive. Firstly, because they were away from their iPads, Xbox and Computer. Secondly, I was worried that they would get bored on the game drives (2 a day). Boy was I wrong, it was their best holiday/adventure to date! From the cabins, lapa, showers and... More

Dear ChristieKim2014 Thanks so much for this - great that you and the boys loved it. Amazing when children learn that going out to find ellies and lions is actually a superior experience to getting to the next level on a computer game!! And it doesn't do anything to dampen enthusiasm when you find ALL of the big five and... More

Where do I start!!! If you are wanting a full bush eco experience this is the place to be! The Game Rangers, staff and hostess were unbelievable!! Food was in abundance (couldn't even eat all meals, there was so much) and all food dished up was absolutely delicious! There is always someone on hand to help you with any questions... More

The only bad thing for us was-Going Home :-(((((. Thanks Caroline, it was an amazing week-end at your Camp.

No need to re-write what others have so eloquently expressed in earlier reviews. The 5 star reports a 'bang-on'. Two 3-4 hour game drives each day. Comfy bed, plus my room has bush-babies living in the rafters. I know I'm anthropomorphising; but they are cute! Loved using the donkey boiler for my shower - it's just fun. Food was fine,... More

First, let's define "bush camp". In this context, it's a facility with tented cabins (part wood frame, part canvas) built on stilts, no running water (but plenty of stored water), no electricity, no Internet access, no spa, no hot tubs. There's a one-line electric fence around the facility which keeps out the elephants (too destructive) but no other animals (bush... More
