Hi Gillian, All the arrangements and suggestions which you have made in the past regarding travel whether it be for business or leisure have been great. Please be advised that it is my suggestion that you never recommend Entabeni ( Kingfisher Lodge) Reserve to anyone! I am not sure as to what you may have heard or know about this... More

Pros Amazing tasty food buffet style and constantly being fed. Very affordable all inclusive price when compared to other safaris Nice grounds Knowledgeable Rangers Cons: Water is not included which is ridiculous and you are charged for small bottles. No one even makes it really clear that no drinks are included but keep asking if you want drinks which is... More

We went to Kingfisher Lodge for a weekend getaway and there is only one word to describe the service of the lodge and the lodge itself: disaster. -Very unfriendly stuff, when you asked for something they were annoyed to have to work. Self service, the waiter took your order from 3m distance because he was too lazy to come to... More

It is as if there is no proper management here...small things are missing. Wake up this morning and go to the main lodge for proper coffee and a rusk...no says the guy. There is instant coffee. We had to ask for rusks. Meals are average buffet style food. Meals are served at one table seating all 16 guests. Food served... More

The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Check-in was quick after a safety briefing. It is all-inclusive i.e. DBB, lunch and accommodation. Rooms have a deck with a table and 2 chairs. Huge bath and shower as en suite(indoor) and a fireplace for the chilly winter nights. Added bonus, electric blanket. The food was lovely and a selection... More

We stayed in unit 3 of Kingfisher for 2 nights in July. This room is near the kitchen so you often hear the noise from the staff. The lodge is however nice with only 8 units and a spectacular view. Each unit has a fire place, mini fridge, big bath and aircon. Each day you receive a bag of wood... More

Chalets great but furniture a bit scruffy. Location and view from the lodge outstanding. Just 4 chalets so great for a group of friends, but don't expect too much variety on game viewing. Great rhino & elephant sightings but very limited big cat sightings and no-one even mentioned a buffalo! Easy to get to from Joburg and the gravel road... More

Eight of us stayed here for three nights. We had two game drives a day and saw lots of spectacular scenery. The food was good and the room was excellent. We had a wonderful driver named John who took great care of us and even transported two of the men to an area golf course and waited while they played.... More

The lodge is strategically and majestically located in between the beautiful mountains to experience what the nature has to offer and was very impressed with the surrounding and its friendly staff. The sounds of birds reminded me of my love of nature.

A group of 8 stayed 2 nights at Ravineside lodge which was a comfortable 4 star establishment, and then 2 nights at the luxurious 5 star Kingfisher lodge. Both had very hospitable staff with excellent food and wine.
