We felt a real sense of loss on having to leave Lakeside Lodge as we so loved every aspect of our stay here. Our rooms were undeniably well used as were most of the structures on site, but we weren't expecting a Ritz-Carlton in the bush! Regular incursions by elephants and thieving Vervet monkeys probably doesn't help too much! The food was good, fresh and plentiful but I must admit to a doubt about the crocodile at one bbq! The ranger/drivers were particularly professional and keen to impart their considerable knowledge not only of the wildlife but of signs, tracking, plants and a host of other interesting insights. The game drives were not only rewarding in the matter of sightings but quite adventurous, the steep and rocky descent of the gorge leading to the lower reserve being particularly so. We saw most of the animals and birds that we had hoped to see and some quite memorable action. We were blessed with lovely weather, although I imagine that serious rain would have been welcomed locally. After eight great days we were finally very sorry to be "Out of Africa". (But hoping to return one day).

We have just finished a visit to Entabeni / Legends game lodge in the Waterberg area of South Africa. We found the food at the wild side camp to be exceptional value and the staff were both courteous friendly and helpful. The game drive in the evening was amazing, possibly the best ever with Piet our ranger Much much more to experience here and well worth a visit

We really loved your stay at Entabeni! The food, rooms and game drivers were perfect. Our ranger Noddi (?) was the best! He told us so much about the animals, plants and habitats. I liked the game drivers at Entabeni more than at Kruger. I really recommend a stay at the Entabeni Safari Conservancy.

We went to Entabeni for the day trip game drive. It is a truly stunning environment. The afternoon game drive was great. Saw a lot of animals and the guide was really knowledgeable. The drive in the vehicle was exciting since the terrain is really rough. Would definitely recommend this place for a game drive. We didn't sleep at this place but the lodges looked amazing (from the outside)

My husband and I visited Entabeni Safari conservancy just for a relaxed long weekend away from the busy city and it sure was a great weekend. We were already mentally prepared for the stretch of road of gravel that leads to the place, which was not too bad. On our arrival there were elephants that were having a party just outside the reception and rooms. The staff welcomed us very warmly, kept us in the loop via telephone about the status of the elephants outside as it was not safe to walk around and got the guides to fetch us from our rooms to the restaurant for supper since the elephants were still having a great time outside. The elephants ended up damaging the water pipe, thus we had no water in the evening throughout the night, but the problem was sorted out by the time we came back from the morning safari drive the next day. The safari guides, Solly and Magnificent, were just awesome, among all the other beautiful animals, we were able to find a pride of lions through the tracks they left in the sand, the lions were camouflaged by the tall grass and had it not been for our skilled guides, I doubt we would have found them. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, they made our stay a great one indeed. If you are looking for a great time away from the city, this is it.
