Top Flight Everything! Tanda Tula gets exceptional marks for: -Attention to detail -Professionalism -Gourmet dining -Comfortable accommodations -Friendliest and most attentive staff ever experienced anywhere -Unmatched customer service from "Welcome" to "hope to see you again." -Pure adventure! Expectations were exceeded on all levels. The game drives were beyond anything we could have ever hoped for. I would call this... More

We stayed at this fabulous lodge for 4 nights. We had Civilisation as our guide and Jack as our trekker. The drives were so interesting. The night drives even included looking at the stars and reading the planets. The game walk was fab. We all learnt so much. Breakfast every morning in the 'bush'.......super food all the way through and... More

It took me forever to write this review because I wanted to take the time to make it really special. A group of friends from different countries travelled to South Africa for work and wanted to experience a Safari with just the right amount of comfort but still feeling the reserve. Tanda Tula was just that. The tents are amazing... More

I stayed at Tanda Tula for three nights. The staff here is absolutely amazing and they do everything they can to make you feel comfortable, happy and well fed. Tents: The only thing that is tent-like about these tents is that there are canvas walls around you. They are so well-equipped with a fully stocked mini-bar, safe, charging station, bath... More

Stayed 3 nights at tanda Tula. Loved the glamping tents with outdoor shower which face a sand river. The tents are very comfortable and being perched above the river gave us an excellent view of the area. The timbavati area is great to see all the big 5 and we were very lucky to see the rare white lions! All... More

Tanda Tula was the last of the lodges we stayed at on our recent trip to South Africa and certainly did not let the country down for hospitality, friendliness and sightings. The lodge is extremely well run and all of the staff go well out of their way to ensure that you have a wonderful stay. The food here is... More

Tanda Tula was really the start of our South African vacation, and it set an extremely high bar for the rest of the trip!! Located not far from Hoedspruit, we felt completely immersed in Africa’s bush. From the open air main building, to our “tents”, we were always in the astounding environment that is Timbavati. The tents were something out... More

At Tanda Tula you arrive as a guest and leave after just a few days feeling like a family member. Very friendly, delightfully relaxing, superb food, very comfortable. So many special touches. Electric blankets, hot water bottles on early morning Game Drive. Breakfast is JUST SO SPECIAL at Tanda. I will not describe it so as to save the thrill... More

Tanda Tula from start to finish was an incredible place to start our honeymoon - the game drives were amazing and we saw everything we'd hoped to and more, including leopards, lions, elephants (and more elephants!), rhinos, giraffes and countless wonderful birds, and our guide and tracker, Scotch and Patrick were great, knowledgeable, engaging and stopped at nothing to help... Rooms were well appointed although outdoor shower facility all year round was a new experience. Food and beverages was of high quality at all times with accent on traditional African dishes Game safaris were led by very good guides who delivered access to extensive range of animals in varied environments
