What a magical place! At first I was so nervous to be in the luxury tents and as it was my first time on safari, however after just one game drive our guide Chad had made me feel so at ease! All the staff at Tanda Tula go absolutely above and beyond anything I ever expected.

We arrived to the warmest welcome, and this hospitality did not end for the entire 4 day stay. It was my father's 82nd birthday while we were there, and they went out of their way to make it special. One of the employees shared the same birthday, and they instantly became "twin

This was my second visit to Tanda Tula in three years. Wonderful to be greeted by the same staff, three years on – a sign of a happy and well-run lodge. Indeed many of them have been there for 10 years or more. The staff really are what makes Tanda Tula special, it sounds corny

The "star bed"--do spend a night here if it is available!
View of the entrance to tent #2 - nice porch with chairs to enjoy the view.
We had no problem with the heat--it's a very dry heat. At night there was a fan that kept us cool, although you may not need it. We only had rain one day, and it was light. They have blankets and ponchos for you on the drive if it rains. We were quite lucky in terms of weather.

My apologies for the late reply! We have one US standard outlet in the tents, as well as 2 USB outlets. You therefore shouldn't need a converter for your stay at Tanda Tula. You can also contact Viv or Lorraine directly if you have further questions - please go to our website for contact details. Kind regards. Don

We went in April and it was amazing, we saw the big 5, but I’m not sure if that was the best time of year or not. Have you tried emailing them through their website? If you choose Tanda, I’m sure you will have a fantastic holiday. R

Not that cold for past 3 years. Maybe it suits your travel planner in terms of getting availability. Soft season in June.

Being here in June, I can only say how our time and weather were. You go out at 5:30 am, and it was cold. We needed to layer as the day developed...we simply removed layers. LOVED it!
