Comfortable facilities in large air conditioned en suite tents or more luxurious lodges great atmosphere in the camp created by the delightful staff good food served in convivial atmosphere either in or outside depending on the weather. Small pool and spa on site. So far so good but where this place really excels is the quality of the game drives...

Simbavati Lodge in Timbavati Private Reserve has a beautiful reception where we were greeted with damp towels and juice upon our arrival. Stayed for 3 nights in our last leg of our stay in SA. Nice, clean and serene property with almost a homely feel. We were so impressed with Simbavati's tents and service. It is a beautiful place to stay. I wish we could have stayed longer! The food was also excellent! We loved the barbecue and all the wonderful staff. They were so friendly and eager to please. We loved it!

Superior experience for "tent camping". Lodge and facilities quite nice. Accommodated special diet needs. Guide/Ranger and Tracker used knowledge and experience to create opportunities for amazing access to animals on our safari drives.
