We stayed 2 nights at this lovely luxury tented camp. Our room/tent had some canvas walks but also a wood balcony with great outdoor shower and bath! Everything you needed was there.... Heat in the morning and cooling during the day. The game game rides were the best out of our 3 week vacation thanks to He ru and Victor!!!... More

Have just this morning left this lodge where we stayed for 3 night as a party of 8. 2 families with teenagers aged 17-19. Have had the most fantastic time! Firstly the lodge...very friendly and helpful staff, a lovely environment with the individual tents set well apart from each other and comfortable public areas and great food. I am picky,... More

We stayed here in May 2016 for our honeymoon. The private reserve is fantastic and we saw some excellent wildlife. Our ranger was first class and we really enjoyed all of the game drives. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place for wildlife viewing. However, the hotel didn't quite live up to our expectations (which were admittedly high). Our tent... More

Wonderful service and exquisite dinning (and bar) in an unbelievable location. We saw the big five game with terrific guides. Hard to believe you can be in such a terrific setting and still be so deep into the bush of Africa. Our "tent" had to be seen to be believed also. Kudus and Baboons came to our back deck and... Wow!!! We stayed here for 4 nights in May and we cannot fault it. Upon arrival we were greeted by Cathleen who was so friendly and welcoming. We were shown to our luxury tent which was so lovely. It has absolutely everything you would need and really is a very luxurious tent. The bath on the balcony was amazing and... More

This was my first time camping in a Luxurious Bush Camp, as a boy growing up we used rough it when we say we went camping! Boy! I was in for a surprise when we arrived at this camp, It was not our first time at Thorny Bush, its our favourate private reserve in that one can see abundant bird... More

This resort is perfect if you wish to get away from the city for a few days. You will get a chance to experience all the big 5 and it is closest you will ever get to living in the bush. The rooms and neat and tidy and the decor sets the tone for your game experience. Additionally, the staff... More

We had a restful, memorable stay in early April at Chapungu. The lodge is very well-kept, the staff attentive and dinners each evening were varied and delicious. The twice-daily game drives led by our expert guide, Kilmon, were always breath-taking and filled with the Big Five and more. I would have enjoyed leaving the vehicle and walking the bush a... More

Spent 3 lovely nights here. The common areas are beautiful, the staff is attentive and the food is wonderful. Our tent 6 was lovely, though the water pressure could be better! We loved seeing a beautiful springbok near our tent every single day. She seemed as curious about us as we were about her. Also had a warthog visit. And... More

The "tent" proved to be a pretty solid lodge cabin with part heavy canvas walls and roof, but with a shower, outside bath, covered patio terrace to relax on. Very comfortable. The main lodge has friendly, interested staff providing first rate service and food. The highlight of course are the safari drives... we were lucky to partner up with Kilmon... More
