This was our third stay at Gomo Gomo but our fist for our daughter and after a slow first day we hit the jackpot on day. 2 as we were reunited with Dominick as our tracker and we had 4 superb safaris with this amazing young man. Helped by driver Gordon, we saw a Lion with his Giraffe kill, A pack of Wild Dogs, Elephants, Rhino, Cape Buffalo and at last the elusive Leopard to make it the big 5 and so much more in those 4 game drives. How Dominick worked so hard to see the lone Lion and the the pride of 6 - 5 males and a female really. Made my daughters experience. Then to be able to track the Leopard on our last day was so special and made our stay so wonderful. All the staff work hard to make your stay such an experience. The management at the Lodge seem to be relatively new and young in age and perhaps need to engage with the clients and perhaps learn how to make the client feel special for the entirety of their stay.because it was evident there was not much interaction with guests as experienced previously . however this Lodge remains real value for money and offers a relaxed and informal atmosphere than we have experience at other lodges. Thankyou once again Dominick, Gomo, you need to keep this man !

I couldn't have been happier with our choice to stay at Gomo Gomo for our safari! We had a few mishaps (one morning was rained out, and the heat kept some animals away so we weren't able to see all the Big 5), but the staff was nothing but wonderful the entire time. From the guides and trackers to the hosts and housekeeping staff, everyone was friendly and welcoming. They'll bend over backwards to help you--even to arrange things we didn't know we could do, like a drive out into the bush at night to stargaze! The chalets were clean and spacious, and the little porch looking out over the watering hole was a delightful extra. There were also chairs at the main lodge overlooking the watering hole, so we could sit and check emails while still enjoying nature. The food was also very good--flavorful, varied, and *definitely* plentiful. I felt like I was always eating, but it was too good to stop! Plus, they have coffee out constantly, which helped make the 5am wake ups a little easier. I was wildly impressed with Gomo Gomo, and I would recommend it to anyone else in a heartbeat.

Just about to leave after an amazing 4 night stay at Gomo Gomo. We were really lucky and saw 4 of the big 5 (just the Leopard that we didn’t see but not through want or trying with the fabulous trackers) but we were really lucky to have a rare sighting of wild dogs hunting Impalla. Dominic and Hardus (our tracker/driver) were brilliant and went out of their way to try and make the safari experience exciting and memorable. They are super knowledgable about there species we saw and demonstrated real passion for their jobs which made the experience really fantastic. The lodges themselves are very comfortable and the bathroom facilities also great. All lodges overlook the watering hole and it’s really relaxing to sit and watch the species that visit everyday. I was not expecting too much from the food, however, I was very pleasantly surprised. All food was prepared fresh everyday by the resident chefs and the breads they made were amazing. I really couldn’t fault breakfast, lunch or dinner any day - very good quality meals. Equally the snacks on the morning and evening safari drives were also really good. Overall the experience was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute and would definitely come back again - we NEED to see Mr Leopard. Gomo Gomo, thank you for an amazing stay.

We had 4 nights at Gomo Gomo with 8 game drives . Loved every minute of it , even getting up early . The rangers are tertiary qualified and very knowledgeable - The trackers also very switched on and amazing trackers. Nothing is guaranteed on a safari but they did the best everyday = I loved how they networked the radio with their neighbours as well. We saw the Big 5 ( the Leopard on day 5 Harry! ) as well as 20+ other animals and heaps of birds. The whole team were fun to be around - providing plenty of chats and laughs - and most nights joined us for dinner . Cheers Tony

I would highly recommend staying here. The game drives are outstanding and the guides were very knowledgeable and fun to be around. The lodges were nice to stay in, the food was great and the location of the watering hole right next to the lodge is perfect for the surprise animal sightings between game drives. Dinner in the boma was a really cool experience as well. The mornings are very early, but we thought it made for a better game drive because it wasn't incredibly hot yet and it allowed you more time to relax during the day. Everything about Gomo Gomo was perfect for our honeymoon!
