We stayed at Gomo Gomo for three nights and had 6 game drives with Jacobus and Dominic. They were both fantastic and we really enjoyed spending time with them. They worked hard to make sure we got to see all of the animals we were interested in , including the big five. Everyone at Gomo Gomo went out of their... More

The staff is excellent and the lodge was nice. Dominic is an excellent tracker. Besides the game drive the stay was kinda boring. I was able to see most of the animals on the first day of arrival. I would recommend to add more activities for guest. The food was awful and very small portions. Next time I would stay... More

We stayed at Gomo Gomo for two nights with our two sons aged 9 and 12. From the first moment of arrival everyone looked after us superbly, especially our guide Ross, who was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about everything. Our room was beautiful, the lodge itself including pool area were gorgeous and very importantly the food was delicious. Our game... More

After much persuasion I finally got my husband on a safari holiday...the experience was truly amazing..wild animals in their natural surroundings...no more visits to the local zoo!! We saw 4 of the big 5...and on our last morning safari before we were leaving..the elusive leopard.. 5/5 We did choose Gomo Gomo because of the watering hole & the possibility of... More

We spent two nights here. It's a small lodge and you get individual service. On arrival you are met by your driver who essentially looks after you for your stay. Breakfast, lunch and dinner (eaten outside around an open fire) are all beautifully prepared and they are happy to accommodate allergies. You do have to pay for drinks and also... More

From start to finish this was a most truly fantastic experience! We went on 6 game drives in total and each one had so much to see, Leopard, Elephant, Zebra, Rhino, Waterbuck, Steenbok, Baboons, Wild dog, hyena, Giraffe, Buffalo.... and on the very last drive a Lion that walked straight along the side of our Jeep. The Lodge itself is... More

We stayed 2 nights in June, so we went on 4 game drives. The whole purpose of paying for expensive private game reserves is to see wild animals that one might not see on self-drive trips through Kruger. We were very disappointed with our experience. We saw very little game. This may have been due to the drought in the... More

Spent 4 nights here and loved every minute. Overall we stayed in 4 game lodges in s. africa and this was by far the best. The staff act as guide, bartender, host, and expert. Their involvement in every aspect of your stay gives you a close bond and they learn what you like, want to see/do, and make it happen.... More

It is our first safari. So while we have no basis for comparison, we really appreciated how well the staff looked after guests. Our ranger Stefan and tracker Dominic made every effort to show us as many animals as possible. And we enjoyed listening to their stories of animal encounters. You will definitely not go hungry at camp. There is... More
