nThambo in Zulu should mean home (for the record it doesn't) because from the moment you arrive up until the friendly waving staff disappear in your rear vision mirror, you really do feel like you are home. Nadia welcomed us with a refreshing cocktail and an even more refreshingly relaxed yet informative camp briefing. Before we knew it we had...

Wonderful property and the people were fantastic. I booked thorough African Budget Safaris so didn't really know what to expect and was thoroughly satisfied and would recommend this place to anyone. The accommodations and food were great and the safari experience amazing. Being able to go "cross country" to find the animals is something you can't do everywhere so was...

I'm not the camping type and when my better half insisted that we stay in a tree-house like setting, I was skeptic. It was more modern than expected. There was wi-fi and electricity, and a bathroom with shower in each cabin. What I loved was listening to the animals at night, there was impala with their mating calls, hyenas and...

Great lodge at a great location, close to one of Kruger Park gates. Fantastic facilities and amazing staff. From check-in to check-out an amazing experience. Unfortunately, we stayed just one night. We will be back soon!...

The accommodations are on stilt house and are very cool. We could only stay one night as it was already booked. I would recommend 2 nights so you have time to enjoy your room and the whole experience. Matt and Alex are very good at what they do and have a great passion for the bush. We also stayed at...

We visited Nthambo tree camp in June for three nights. We had an awesome time. The staff was great. Extremely helpful. We saw the big five and more, and came home with a ton of great pictures. Bjorn our ranger and Issac our tracker worked hard to track a new lion visiting the area and he was mating with a...

Wonderful game viewing experience with very friendly and experienced rangers. Saw 4 of the big 5. We were made to feel very welcome by the base camp staff and owners. the highlight was a herd of elephants drinking out of the swimming pool.
