This is our first safari and have nothing to compare so what I will be writing is first impressions! Overall the experience was more than AMAZING! The lodge was intimate and it made us feel as if we were visiting friends for the three days. The accommodation had this shabby chic feel to it. It was more than adequate and...

Awesome visit! Definitely worth it!!!!!! An African experience you wouldn't find anywhere else. Tracked a cheetah on foot and marked a rhino's spot. Very chilled and a getaway to rest and relax. Proper African food to give you enough energy to do all the adventurous things they have to offer, and to make you drool when the smell hits you....

The camp is lovely and the staff were all great - helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The game drives and bush walks were superb. The rangers really know their stuff and were always confident and in control - and that makes a big difference to how you feel when you're on foot with elephant only 10 metres away! I've been on...

We spent 2 nights at Africa on Foot in late August 2015. Accommodation is in comfortable bungalows ... we ended up in the family bungalow so had plenty of space for just two of us. We pre-booked one night in the open-air treehouse as well and I have to say it turned out to be a real highlight! Set away...

This is a real gem, and offers the chance to see and experience the real Africa. The walks and game drives were both fantastic and we saw lots of game, including lion, elephant, rhino and leopard. We also saw plenty more, such as civets, bush-babies, and many antelope. The staff are fantastic and go out of their way to make...

Africa on Foot was amazing. It was by far our favourite place in SA. This was mostly down to the two guides we had: Mike and Greg. Both were extremely knowledgable, friendly and funny guys. They'd spend most of the day with us, on walks, game drives, eating with us and in the evening by the campfire. The accommodation is...

Stayed several nights at Africa on Foot in the middle of June. Had a simply fantastic time. Congratulations to all the staff, especially Greg, Mike, Jen and Heinie. The early morning walking safaris are not to be missed. Each morning you learn so much by observing the tracks of animals and informative discussions about vegetation, then there is the added...
