Jabulani, where luxury and purpose meet. As a proud Relais & Châteaux member and 5-star luxury lodge in Kapama Private Game Reserve in the Greater Kruger Park area, a Jabulani safari promises nothing but the best experience from start to finish. Jabulani, with its six superior suites and the exclusive, family-friendly Zindoga Villa, offers a unique opportunity for gracious living in a five-star luxury lodge. Each spacious and elegant suite is luxuriously furnished and features both a private deck and a plunge pool. Children are welcome at Jabulani from the age of six and at Zindoga Villa at any age. Protecting the gentle giants was one of the founding principles at Jabulani. The lodge was started to help care for a rescued elephant herd nearly 20 years ago. Today, they continue with this by sharing the experience with guests while guests help to conserve this magical species just by visiting. Devoted elephant carers share insightful stories of their life journeys with the Jabulani herd, whilst you have an opportunity to respectfully observe the elephants during their daily routines – while they enjoy their midday swim and forage in the wild. There are also plenty of other things to do, such as game drives, walking safaris, bird-watching, exploring the little creatures, helicopter flights, hot air balloon rides, and spending time at Jabulani’s onsite facilities, like the luxury bush spa. Jabulani offers a one-of-a-kind, all-inclusive dining experience. Enjoy fine cuisine in the best setting, from breakfast bush picnics and sundowner canapés, to star-lit private dinners or gatherings in the boma. Twice-daily morning and evening game drives are designed to coincide with the times of day that the wildlife is most active. Head into the bush on an open, custom-built safari vehicle, with our experienced and knowledgeable rangers at the helm. Jabulani is a soulful, insightful and unforgettable experience.

Where to start? Jabulani was incredible. We had originally booked for 5 people in the Zindoga Villa and thanks to there flexibility we were allowed to book a sixth person for no extra price. We arrived at Hoedspruit airport to be greeted by our amazing guide Ryan. He drove us through the game reserve to the lodge. Our villa had 3 rooms and 2 swimming pools and it was really nice to have our own villa to ourselves. Our private chef Alex made delicious meals and his Caesar salad and lamb with custard was fantastic. Orbit was our butler and was very welcoming and was a the type of guy you could have a good conversation with. Stefan the manager really made feel at home. The safaris were great as we could create our own set schedule and the elephant interaction and elephant sunset was a family memory that we will treasure. The pictures that Ryan took were fantastic and the tracking down of the lion pride really did blow our mind. Also thank you for letting us watch the Manchester United vs Liverpool match on your TV. One minor setback, try make the wifi a little stronger as there isn't mobile data in the game reserve. A memorable trip to remember. Thank you Ryan, Alex, Orbit, Stefan and the Jabulani team for making this one of the best holidays ever. We'll be back. The Luthras

Our stay at Jabulani was exceptional. Truly beyond belief! Between the beautiful lodging, delicious food, personal touches, amazing game drives and of course the elephants, our experience could not be beat. Everyone took such care to make sure our honeymoon trip was the trip of a lifetime - and they certainly succeeded! The elephant interaction experiences were magical. The game drives were plentiful - we saw the big five, a lion pride feasting on a buffalo kill and another pride hunting an impala, a leopard, hippos, rhinos, elephants, giraffe, zebra, plus so much more! Our guide Jason was equal parts expert tracker, human encyclopedia, impressive barista/bartender, compelling storyteller/comedian - we feel so, so lucky to have gotten paired with him. The full staff was absolutely amazing: Ruan, who was so kind and made sure all of our needs were met; the culinary team who prepared our delicious on-and-off-the-menu meals; Songs & Issac, our attentive and personable waitstaff; and everyone who contributed behind the scenes to make our trip so phenomenal and so personal. We definitely saw the benefits of staying at a smaller, more intimate lodge and could not recommend more! Plus, did I mention the elephant interaction? 10/10 recommend!!!!! Whenever we’re lucky enough to make it back to Africa, Jabulani will without a doubt be our first stop. Thank you, Jabulani team, for a trip we will never forget. - Melanie & Lee

Jabulani offers the perfect balance between a luxurious offering and personable staff that make you fele at home and comfortable. The rooms, and facilities are excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed the food, and the game drives were very enjoyable with the assistance of our highly motivated and dedicated guide. Of course, the elephant experience is truly unique and makes this a stand-out.

This private game reserve is truly an experience not to be missed. Their attention to detail is exceptional - from the exclusive ribbons used in wrapping the washcloths to the little towel elephant that greets you on the bed, nothing was left to be desired. The rooms are beautifully decorated and are situated far from one another to ensure privacy and zero disturbance from other guests. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. The food is out of this world - not only being presented beautifully but tasting divine! A more memorable culinary experience than what we have had at a Michelin starred restaurant abroad. Attention to detail was again evident in the little conveniences that were offered on the game drives - hot water bottles, poncho's and blankets were readily available to ensure our comfort. The game rangers are knowledgeable, willing and able to answer any questions one may have around any of the fauna or flora. Lastly, the elephant experience at sunset was spectacular - and again every effort is made to ensure guests' comfort and on making sure every moment is memorable.

Visiting Jabulani again was a wonderful bush experience filled with great sightings and excellent food. The Jabulani herd of orphaned elephants were the highlight and we enjoyed interacting with them and watching them swim and play in the water. The wild elephant herd was also very entertaining as they looked for food and taught the little ones how to behave!

Everything was absolutely perfect! The lodge is amazing and the food was great at every single meal we had there. Our ranger, Reece (with a C), was very very nice and super committed at finding different animals and assuring that we had great game rides! So much so that we saw the big 5 in all of the days that we were at the Jabulani Lodge. We got a chance to meet other rangers, Ruan and Yonah, who were also super nice and committed. There is sincerely nothing bad I can say about the Lodge!

My husband and I have just returned from a phenomenal 3 night stay at Jabulani. We have visited many 5* lodges and none have come close to what Jabulani has to offer. Wonderful game viewing, sensational food and exceptional service. A special thanks to our guide (Ryan) who went above and beyond for us as well as Ruan and Shadrack for making every element of our stay unforgettable.

Our stay at Jabulani exceeded our expectations in every way! If we could give them a 10 out of 5 we would. We decided to stay here for part of our honeymoon after my parents came and talked about how amazing their experience was here. One of our favorite parts of our stay was doing twice daily game drives in the private reserve Jabulani sits on. Our ranger, Reece, was with us for the duration of our stay, which allowed us to get to know him. He was extremely knowledgeable and it was clear that he knew the reserve and animal behavior, which resulted in some incredible animal sightings during our stay. We also loved how he got our input on what we were looking to see and what times we wanted to go out, which allowed us to maximize the time we had. Since the drives were in a private reserve, all of the rangers communicated about different sightings, which resulted in us getting to see more. Additionally, during every part of our stay the staff and their customer service was exceptional. We felt special and taken care with everything we needed. The food was also amazing! The rooms and entire lodge were very incredible as well. Staying at Jabulani was such a special experience and we hope we be back at some point in the future.

Just finished a remarkable experience Jabulani Safari . This gorgeous Relais & Châteaux property is an all-inclusive safari experience that included interactions with their herd of rescue elephants. The vibe is rustic luxury - it feels authentic - thatched roofs, eclectic design, and impeccable service. Hugely successful game drives - seeing the big 5 within 24 hours of arrival! I can not recommend enough! Shout out to the manager Ruan for going above and beyond to be welcoming and our guide Reese for his knowledge and amazing experiences on the game drives.

Our stay at Jabulani was just wonderful! From the first moment to the last, the whole team did everything to make us feel happy, comfortable and home. The food was fantastic, the game drives incredible, the room with private patio and pool just amazing. Even though the lodge was full we felt like being the only guests. The team even surprised us with a birthday cake, we felt super special! The elephant experience and getting to feed and hug the elephants was just so cool! Honestly, there`s not a single thing I would have wanted differently
