I cannot say enough good things about Mohlabetsi Lodge and its staff. We had the privilege of spending 3 nights here. The accommodations are inviting and clean (love the decor and outdoor showers). The staff is attentive. The setting is beautiful. There is a lot of lovely open common space for meals (which are fantastic) and downtime between the game... More

Well organized lodge. Good food and every day a morning and afternoon game drive. They do their ultimate best to score the big five for all guests, sometimes ignoring other animals if the list is not complete. No problem for most fly in guests. Animals need to be tracked and this can take a long time if no other car... More

We stayed 2 nights in Mohlabetsi and everything was perfect. Environnement : The place is really nice, completely open in the reserve without any fences, You really feel that you are in the middle of the reserve. The possibility to watch Girafes or Elephant walking and eating close to the garden is just fantastic ! Rooms : The room was... More

Lovely Safari Lodge set in The Greater Kruger National Park. Accommodation is in an African 'Roundel' style building all of which are set away from the main block which houses the restaurant and bar. An extensive garden, were you can relax on sun loungers if you wish, looks out onto the game reserve and within an hour or so of... More

We had a special experience with friends whom travelled from across the world. We only stayed for one evening so the pressure was on to see the big five and more. Lucky (our guide) did not fail to impress us. Rooms were comfortable, clean and stylishly decorated. Will recommend a stay at Mohlabetsi to anyone.

We arrived in a flurry and departed with fond memories. The game drives were variable as can be expected in the late summer we are experiencing. A highlight is always dinner in the boma where we were treated to some amazing delicacies. Our only criticism was that we travelled on the open vehicle with kids who chatted for 3,5 hours... More

My family and I (3 adult children with our parents) spent 3 nights at Mohlabetsi Safari Lodge and WOW were we impressed! The staff were amazing and went out of their way to ensure that we had a wonderful experience. The game drives were thrilling and our guide was so passionate and knowledgable about the bush and the animals, which... More

My third visit to the Lodge. Ive stayed in many Lodges in and around the Greater Kruger region; some bigger, some more luxurious, many more expensive. But the game drives here are as goos any. Karl and Solly are experienced rangers with attention to detail. They try hard to give the best drive each time.

1. Safaris - We were able to site the Big 5 plus the Cheetah. They make all possible efforts to ensure good sightings. 2. Accommodation - Rooms are cosy and comfortable. 3. Food - The open air dinner sessions are a fantastic experience. 4. Hospitality - We really felt special there. It was our honeymoon and they had arranged for... More

For terrific wildlife viewing and wonderful lodging, this is the place. You are treated to sumptuous meals, exceptionally comfortable lodging in traditional rondovals, and a really nice pool to cool off in on a warm afternoon. The opportunity to see the "big five" and many other animals is most likely. Close-ups of elephants, lions, giraffes, rhinos, and even hyenas made... More
