A friend and I spent a week at Ezulwini in November, split between the River Lodge and Billy's. It exceeded our expectations, and we both said we would go back in a heartbeat. We saw the big five (saw all of the big five multiple times during our stay). But here's some things you should know. 1. The River Lodge...

If seeing animals is your main goal, you can not go wrong here. We saw all the big 5. The early morning and evening drives are well timed and the guide and the tracker were excellent. Unlike some other game reserves, the vehicles were allowed to go off-road and off-road they went following animals. The Range Rovers were comfortable and...

Stayed at Billy's lodge, what a fantastic experience. Fantastic views and lodges, great staff and hosts. All in all a great group managing and working at the lodge. Game driviing vehicles comfortable, modern and new, which is a plus as these can often be terrible making the game drive a nightmare...glad to say this was not at all the case,...

We booked through Viva Safaris (don't - go directly to this lodge and book, I promise!). Everything exceeded our expectations, the staff treated us like kings. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and clean. You start each morning at 5am with a wakeup knock, then time to get ready, have coffee and head out for the game drive. You return to...

My husband and I stayed three nights at Billy's Lodge followed by two nights at River Lodge and truly experienced the trip of a lifetime. At Billy's Lodge we were warmly greeted by the staff upon arrival and shown to our rustic but very comfortable suite overlooking the bush, complete with porch swing, plunge pool and outdoor shower. We were...

Africa Easy, a travel agency in Seattle that was Wonderful to work with, helped us plan our African Safari. We spent 3 nights at each of the two lodges and found our experiences at both were what made this a trip of a lifetime. Glory (host), Greg (ranger) and Richard (tracker) at the River Lodge were all exceptional. They and...

I stayed at both the River Lodge and Billy's Lodge for a total of 6 nights, and I must say that it was an excellent experience. The suites were beautiful, as were the grounds. I can't say enough about all of the staff, who bent over backwards to make sure I was comfortable. Hats off to Lauren at Billy's Lodge,...

We spent 3 nights at the River Lodge and 2 nights at Billy's Lodge. Jochen and Mira were wonderful "hosts" at the River Lodge, with Jochen even providing photography tips. Leonard and Hector were gracious and attentive guides and trackers, informing us of the wildlife and positioning our vehicle for the best shot. The food was great, and plentiful. Franz...

It has always been my dream to visit South Africa and go on a safari. The Lodges are in the middle of nowhere but they manage to provide really yummy food everyday. I love how personable they are, all the staff are really professional. I didn't know what to expect going on a safari, just thought I would be driven...
