We booked our Safari somewhat blindly based on when it fit in our travel schedule and we were lucky to be placed at these camp grounds. The entire staff is beyond welcoming, a hint of a "luxury" feel with delicious chef cooked meals (I was expecting somewhat "ok" food but it was more like eating at a 5-star restaurant to...

Stayed April 2017. They only have 5 tents so it is small and intimate. After reading about a million reviews we picked Sausage Tree based on the outstanding review record they have. Sausage Tree Camp is easily the best we had of three camps we stayed in. Kevin is a great guide. Orlando will provide you with memorable meals every...

cinematic setting - a panoramic view across the forest to the majestic drakensberg mountains, wonderful staff, superb safari guides and ample game viewing. It's boutique-like and intimate and oh so peaceful. Loved the place and our twice daily journeys exploring the fauna and flora with forensic animal detectives Kevin and fearless Frank.

Sausage Tree is a wonderful place with great staff. The safari's were outstanding, even better than Kruger. Our guide Kevin knows his stuff and tracker Frank got us up close and personal with the animals especially lions and elephants. My partner Tim was over the moon to sit right up front. The whole experience is one I will never forget....

The game drives are great, plenty of good quality animal viewing with excellent guides. Kevin (one of the guides) is a serious photographer, and really knows how to position you, the animal and the light...

Excellent. Awesome wonderful staff. Was a privillege to be so spoilt and cared for. Homemade food was divine. Management and staff were so professional and friendly. Accomodation and lodge perfect. The word 'thankyou' is not enough to express my gratitude.
