Singita Castleton was honestly the most amazing establishment I've ever visited...and not only because I was there with family and friends for our wedding. This was the perfect venue for our small wedding but I can see how it would be equally as spectacular a setting for a bunch of friends, a family reunion, or any small group celebration (including... An unparalleled experience in the bush! I still dream of the place!! Ask and ye shall receive!! Flying in directly to the lodge air strip also makes a great difference. We were there with a group of friends and had the whole lodge to ourselves...that is the only way you get to stay here. The chef is outstanding, the quality... More

Singita Castleton is an unbelievable venue. We celebrated my husband's 50th with close friends. It couldn't have been better. Superb accommodation, delicious meals, staff for whom nothing is too much trouble and game viewing that brings tears to your eyes it is so special. We traveled with 3 kids (boys aged 8-11), all seasoned bush-babies, and they were enthralled by... More

I have travelled the world, stayed in Castles, bespoke tented camps and the Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong, they are all brilliant in their own right but Singita Castleton is a significant step change and cut above - why you may ask? Outside of the world class amenities, food, extensive collectors wine list and obvious privlage to immerse yourself amongst... More

Is not a hotel, is not a house, but is the paradise. The ambience, the service , the safaris and even the animals was the best that you can find in this type of travel. You can see not big five but the big seven... The food , the drinks , the surprises in the night or in the morning was absolute delight.

Our family went to Singita Castleton to celebrate a 60th birthday. It was the most perfect weekend imaginable. Yes, we saw the big 5 (all within five km of the camp!) and yes the lodge was beautiful - but what makes this place special is actually difficult to put in to words. The ranger, Claude, was really in a league... More

Singita means a place where miracles happen and once you've stayed at Castleton you will know why. This was our first "camp" and let me say it was our favorite! Upon our arrival we were literally welcomed into the singita family. And when you leave, you will forever be grateful for your experience at Castleton. We saw so many animals,... More

What to say? The food, the staff, the rooms, the animals - all of it has been an absolute delight. The rooms were clean and beautiful; a true haven to come back to and relax in. Everyday we were taken on amazing game drives where we saw all the animals up close an personal with the amazing help of Claude,... More

When I visited Singita a few years ago, during a drive, we saw Castleton. We asked for a closer view and "inspected" the camp. Then my dream started ! To be here with family and friends...just us ! October 16 we arrived from Londolozi (great experience again !) to Castleton. Lisa welcomed us and Dylan introduced the safari-staff ! We... More

Most fantastic stay in an extremely relaxed homely but beautiful environment. If you are an ardent lover of leopards this is the place for you. We saw leopard almost every day with the most magnificent male leopard lying right next to us and gracing us with his presence. Watched wild dogs on the hunt, extremely intelligent animals when one has... More
