We have saved for such a long time that I was worried whether we did the right thing. It exceeded all my expectations. The attention to detail is mind blowing. The staff are so friendly and you never have a dull moment. I can truly recommended them with an open mind. Thanks you for everything. Kind regards Esmi and François

We spent four beautiful days at Tintswalo Safari Lodge. Great hospitality and excellent food choices. The Safari which was the reason we stayed here were excellent. Out the door at 6:00 am and in the jeep at 6:15. Traveled the bush for approximately three hours locating an assortment of wild animals,

A really superb family experience thanks to the wonderful hospitality and attentive service of Alistair, Emily and their very capable team. From the moment we arrived we felt part of the Tintswalo family. Alistair and Mpho went above and beyond to make sure our family discovered all the magnificence of the Manyeleti in its full glory. Our children declared this... More

This was a return visit. We last visited in 2010 and it was my number lodge. (We visit at least one lodge per year.) Although still great, not quite up to what it was before. Lacked some of the finer additions from 2010. Not to be harsh though - they are still great. Our ranger and tracker, Christof and Foster,... More

We are terribly sorry that we did not live up to your fond memories of 6 years ago. It is unfortunate that you did not report any issues to us during your stay as we would have made sure that we tended to all your wants and needs. We were under the impression that you were having a fantastic stay... More

We last visited this lodge 6 years ago and I can honestly say it was the best lodge we had and have ever visited. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. On arrival, there was nobody there to meet us, we waited a few minutes, then only did Emily and her team arrive, not like previously, when we were met... More

Dear Alison We are very disappointed to hear that you felt that your stay was not as enjoyable as we thought it was! Hosting yourself and Pete, and Dave and Karen was however an absolute pleasure, and I feel like we had some great laughs and a lot of fun! My teenage son and I were fortunate to spend 4 nights at Tintswalo Safari Lodge. It was a fantastic experience -- #1 the twice a day game drives, and also the guides, the rooms, the service, the food, the ambiance, the other guests from all over the world, the sense of intimacy and personalization. Basically, whatever you want it or... More

We recently spent 2 weeks in South Africa with 5 days at Tintswalo. I cannot say enough great things about this lodge. We saw all the big 5 on the first day. What I liked best was the smallness of the lodge. Everyone got to know you and couldn't have bee more accomidating .We did not have all the vehicles crowded... More

This camp is magical! The service and staff are attentive to any needs and very personable. Our safari guide Christof was exceptional. Very knowledgable and so passionate about his beloved bush. We laughed so much during our time together our faces hurt. The elephants drinking from the hose off the balcony were a highlight. Or maybe it was the lions... More

Wow! Where to begin... We left Tintswalo Safari Lodge a few hours ago with heavy hearts (saying goodbye was very difficult), enriched souls (from the experience we relished) and a feeling of "did that all really happen"? Four days ago we took a light aircraft from Johannesburg to the airstrip 10 minutes away from the lodge and on landing were... More
