My husband and I stayed in cabin 301 and absolutely fell in love with it. It was so cozy and relaxing. We enjoyed the fire while watching a movie that we were able to rent from the office there. The jacoozi tub was amazing too. We enjoyed it very much...the bed was extra comfy and as a whole the cabin...

We stayed here in the lodge in August 2013. This was our first visit to Shadow Mountain Lodge. Most of our experience was excellent, but there were a few exceptions. First the good things. Anywhere you stay in Ruidoso will get you out of the miserable heat of the surrounding hundreds of miles. It was great to drive from hot...

Thanks for taking the time to review our beautiful lodge. Shadow Mountain is the number one lodge in Ruidoso for many reasons and you hit on just a few. However, we do not advertise a swimming pool or breakfast, but the best breakfast in town is on the corner across from the lodge. There were over twenty feeders up in...

We spent 2 nights in cabin 301. This was one of the best night's sleep I've had in a hotel in a long time! The bed was very comfortable, and the night was cool so we slept with the window open. We loved the double-sided fireplace, and the tv that swiveled so you could watch from the living room or...

We stayed here for one night in September, lodge 119. The place was really beautiful, within 5 minutes we had deer walking passed our front door and hummingbirds feeding right by the porch. The room was very comfortable and the owners were pleasant and helpful. The room was very comfortable and fully equipped. I wish it had been cold enough...

We were vacationing in Ruidoso, NM and booked our stay at Shadow Mountain Lodge in Room #108. It was such a cozy room, well maintained and very clean. The owners of the property and housekeeping are very friendly and make you feel right at home. I loved sitting out on the porch watching the many hummingbirds, woodpeckers and deer in...

Living in South Texas, by late August we have had it with scorching heat. Our first stay at Shadow Mountain and it was great. We loved sitting on the porch watching the birds and hummingbirds. Gave us a chance to meet and visit with other occupants. Nice size rooms with just enough kitchen to eat in. Everything worked and was...

This was a great place to stay. The atmosphere is very nice. We enjoyed watching the deer, the hummingbirds, and just sitting on the porch or at the fire pit area. The location of the property is excellent. It is very quiet, but convenient to restaurants and shopping.

We stayed here only one night, but it was very pleasant. The rooms are a nice size and well equipped. The grounds are lovely. The hot top was broken, but they said it was new and they were working on getting it fixed. It poured rain while we were there, so we couldn't have used it anyway. It was a...

Thanks for the kind review and for appreciating the property for what it is. Sorry about the hot tub, we are really upset at the builder, Blue Water Pools from Albuquerque. They have really let us down, but we are working hard to get things right. Come again anytime!

We stayed in cabin 302 from August 18-23 and we couldn't have loved it more. Our cabin was very clean and the bed was great. Everyone was very nice and the grounds are very well kept.
