We explored a lot of different safari lodges before deciding to book Kirkmans. We ultimately chose it because they had availability on our first-choice dates. It was a quick 20-minute or so drive from Skukuza airport so pick-up and drop-off was very easy.

We went at the height of summer; Dec-Jan and it wasn't that humid or hot... barely any rain, perhaps we got very lucky. Check out the rainy months, not sure when that is- but May would be Fall weather ...enjoy...
