We stayed 3 nights Very good organisation, good food, nice accomadation. And, the most important, very good game drives with many animals seen in very good conditions : Lions, leopards, elephants, bufalos, white rhino, Girafes etc ..... we where also lucky and saw three cheetahs ..... You can't go wrong here...Arathusa has the safari experience down to a science. Great service, incredible lodging, amazing food, knowledgable and social rangers, and the #1 rated Sabi Sands reserve. Rien and Debeers were a winning combination for our drives, we saw the big five in one day. As a solo traveler I enjoyed the communal dining and high tea...

My family and I spent the first week of August at Arathusa. The tone was set upon our arrival when we were greeted by a group of over 20 elephants at the watering hole outside the lodge. We spent the week with Derrick, our ranger, and Morris, our tracker and could not have asked for more experienced and entertaining guides....

Arathusa had a way of getting everything right. I can't think of a single thing to fault them on. The accommodation was excellent (I was in one of the standard accommodations which was very roomy and comfortable - loved the big bath). Our ranger Roy was fantastic (and Chris our tracker). We saw all the big five plus many more,...

We spent 3 nights at Arathusa, and in common with other reviewers we loved the place. I won't repeat too much of what has been said already, but we particularly loved the waterhole setting and all the game viewing this gave from the comfort of a sunlounger between drives. A particular highlight was one lunchtime witnessing a herd of 40+...

Arathusa provided us with a great value for their luxury accommodations. We loved their two Game Drives per day and their daily schedule. Fantastic and friendly staff... from their reception to their meals to their spa services. We were lucky to get Rein as our Ranger Guide. He was very knowledgeable and did his best to make us see the...

Pretty well everything about the Arathusa met or exceeded our high expectations. Even my 2 teenage sons were blown away by the 3-day safari, and that is saying something! They concentrate on the things that REALLY matter for a high-quality safari experience - like the sheer excellence of guides, the comfort of accommodation, the range/quantity of food and drink, the...

Cliff Notes version: Great accommodations. Restaurant-quality food. Request Drizz and Derrick (aka Double D) and you'll have the best safari you can ever imagine. Now with more detail... Accommodations: I went with 3 other girlfriends to Arathusa for 4 days in the beginning of July. Two of us stayed in the cabin named "Bushwillow." There was a huge comfortable bed,...

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Arathusa! From the safari game drives, to the accommodations, and food, everything was top notch! The only thing we would have done differently would be the trip in. We landed at Nelspruit and took a private car 2 1/2 hours down unpaved roads. Apparently there is a landing strip that you...

My partner and I have just spent 3 days here at Arathusa, and what a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. We saw the big 5, the ugly 5 and the pretty 5 and got so close and personal to these animals it was out of this world, no need for zoom!...
