We just returned from our amazing trip to South Africa. Notten's was the second bush camp we stayed at on our trip, but definitely my favorite. The room was lovely - even without lights (you can get a light to put by the bed if wanted). The all inclusive food and drink went far beyond what we expected. The staff... More

We stayed at Nottens Bush Camp for 3 days - and wished we had stayed a little longer. Very personalized, friendly family feel. The team are efficient, friendly and very welcoming. During our stay, nothing was too much trouble. Our accommodation was beautiful - very comfortable and cool. All lighting is by 'eco-friendly' lanterns which provides a beautiful ambience. The... Our first and much anticipated safari experience and we were anxious not to have too higher expectations for fear of being disappointed on our honeymoon! We should not have worried, Nottens was everything we were hoping for and more. Firstly the staff were so warm, genuine and friendly - they could not have been kinder, more welcoming or more interested... More

Our stay at Notten's was easily the highlight of our trip to South Africa. We saw the big five every day, and even got to watch baby lions playing twice in three days, from a few meters away. Shout out to Thulani and Gideon, our fantastic guide and tracker. The lodge itself is lovely - the rooms are well appointed... More

This unique camp was an experience we will always treasure. The staff, the rooms and the amazing food was beyond anything we have experienced in a bush camp before. Our guide was amazing and we saw the big 5 plus a once in a lifetime oportunity to see wild dogs which are endangered. If you are not over the moon... More

I've dreaded writing this review because it would mean that our trip to South Africa was over. Our family of 6, with our 3 kids ages 10-13 & my mother aged 75, stayed at Notten's for the last 2 nights of our Kruger area vacation. What a perfect ending!! We had 2 rooms - one of which was a family... More

Five stars all around. We preferred a winter (July) safari as the vegetation is sparser (better viewing) and the highest temperatures are generally in the low 20s, perfect for those of us who are heat intolerant. It can be chilly in the mornings but Notten's provides the perfect antidote of blankets and hot water bottles. The pleasant day time temperatures... More

We have just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay at Nottens bush camp. We were lucky enough to see 3 different leopard sightings where one was eating the remains of an Impala he had carried high up a leadwood tree with some hyenas waiting patiently at the bottom for any scraps he dropped. Another leopard had just killed a... More
